Today’s Reading:
2 Samuel 22-23
Hebrews 10

“For who is God, besides the Lord? And who is a rock, besides our God? God is my strong fortress; And He sets the blameless in His way. He makes my feet like hinds’ feet, And sets me on my high places. He trains my hands for battle, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You have also given me the shield of Your salvation, And Your help makes me great. You enlarge my steps under me, And my feet have not slipped.”

2 Samuel‬ ‭22:32-37‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

The Spirit of the Living God says,
This is a time for pulsating, energetic, forward-moving faith. This is not time for quiet, timid, back pew faith. This is time for aggressive, loud, ferocious faith that can tear demons to shreds. I’m looking for faith that will intimidate the enemy. I’m looking for faith that will take ground its eyes have not yet seen. I’m talking lion-hearted, ferocious faith. I’m looking for faith with a sense of humor and real human life behind it. I’m not looking for stoic faith. I’m looking for human, living, breathing faith.

26 “With the [p]kind You show Yourself [q]kind,
With the [r]blameless You show Yourself [s]blameless;
27 With the pure You show Yourself pure,
And with the perverted You show Yourself [t]astute.
28 “And You save an afflicted people;
But Your eyes are on the haughty whom You abase.
29 “For You are my lamp, O Lord;
And the Lord illumines my darkness.
30 “For by You I can [u]run upon a troop;
By my God I can leap over a wall.
31 “As for God, His way is [v]blameless;
The word of the Lord is tested;
He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.

2 Samuel 22:26-31 NASB 1995

I’m looking for faith that says with My God I can storm a troop and jump over a wall. I’m looking for faith backed up by courage to invade the enemy’s camp. This is not sit back and wait faith. This is a time and a call for invade the enemy’s camp faith, claim the enemy’s territory faith, tear down the idols, structures and strongholds built to intimidate the people and serve any god but Me faith. This is a ferocious, aggressive faith. This is faith with personality and a sense of humor. These are serious times, but not everything has to be serious. This is a faith that mocks and taunt the enemy and follows that with a deafening blow. Where are My mighty men of old? Where are My warring women of Zion? Stand up in your ferocious faith and be counted. This is a war season, and warriors are needed.

“And he also says, “My righteous ones will live from my faith. But if fear holds them back, my soul is not content with them!” But we are certainly not those who are held back by fear and perish; we are among those who have faith and experience true life!”

Hebrews‬ ‭10:38-39‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Get on board with My battle strategy. It starts with ferocious faith. It starts with shedding the fear of man and refusing to back down in the face of intimidation, name calling and threats. It starts with rising up with eyes of fire and holy hands ready for battle, ready to tear down evil on behalf of righteousness and My Name’s sake. These are days for My warriors. These are days for My mighty men. These are days for those valiant in battle. Rise up. Be of good courage. It’s time to take the high land.

How to Respond

  • Be fully obedient in whatever the Lord is calling you to do.
  • Pray, Lord, give me courage where I lack it. Show me my place in the battle. Help me to stir up my most holy faith, so I can walk in the boldness You require. Thank You that You are not a God who is looking for performance or works. You are looking for a heart consecrated to You and obedience. You are the God of the results. You are the God of the outcome. I am the one who says, yes Lord here am I, send me.
  • Declare, My God is the God of Angel Armies. He is mighty in battle. He is the always-victorious God. He never lies, never leaves, never fails and never loses. If my God is for me, who can be against me?
  • Decree, I will strengthen my weak knees. I will shake off fear and discouragement. I will stir up my most holy faith by recounting the faithfulness of the Lord. I will share testimonies of the goodness of my God, and I will sing praises to His holy name. I will stir up faith and choose courage, so I can run into the battle in obedience to the Lord knowing He will provide the victory.
