Today’s Reading:
2 Corinthians 2
2 Corinthians 3
2 Corinthians 4

“For God, who said, “Let brilliant light shine out of darkness,” is the one who has cascaded his light into us—the brilliant dawning light of the glorious knowledge of God as we gaze into the face of Jesus Christ. We are like common clay jars that carry this glorious treasure within, so that this immeasurable power will be seen as God’s, not ours. Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option. We are persecuted by others, but God has not forsaken us. We may be knocked down, but not out. We continually share in the death of Jesus in our own bodies so that the resurrection life of Jesus will be revealed through our humanity.”

2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:6-10‬ ‭TPT‬

This is a time of big changes. Everywhere you look, changes. Changes inside of you and outside of you. Changes will be happening so fast, so continually that it will be hard to keep up. It will be disorienting, because nothing will be the same. Norms will not exist. The only thing that will be the same for this period is that everything is always changing. Drill down into the Rock. Drill down and retain a firm grip, a firm footing on Christ your solid rock and firm foundation. In Him there is no shifting. WE are the unchanging One. You will find peace, stability and refuge from the drumbeat and whirlwinds of change as you remain planted firmly on Christ, the solid rock and only firm foundation.

“God always makes his grace visible in Christ, who includes us as partners of his endless triumph. Through our yielded lives he spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere we go. We have become the unmistakable aroma of the victory of the Anointed One to God —a perfume of life to those being saved and the odor of death to those who are perishing. The unbelievers smell a deadly stench that leads to death, but believers smell the life-giving aroma that leads to abundant life. And who of us can rise to this challenge? For unlike so many, we are not peddlers of God’s Word who water down the message. We are those sent from God with pure motives, who speak in the sight of God from our union with Christ.”

2 Corinthians‬ ‭2:14-17‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I Am birthing a new man inside of you. The change that happens will not only be external, will not only be circumstantial or political or seasonal. It will be internal. I Am doing a work in you. You are changing too. You have been becoming more like Me, and you will go through a rapid, accelerated, seemingly pressurized stretch of change. It will feel and may already feel like your whole being is in a pressure cooker. You are being transformed. This is a transformative season. And soon the pressure valve will be released, and soon the lid will come off and you will be released as a vibrant and very free one. Very free, very vibrant, very bold. Along with the release of the pressure, along with the emergence of this new, bold, vibrant, very free you is the fragrance of suffering, the fragrance of change, the fragrance of a life purposely laid down, willingly laid down for Me, in pursuit of Me, My face and My ways. That fragrance is unmatched in heaven. It is a sacred and very potent fragrance that touches My heart. It is the pre-conditional fragrance of martyrs. This is the fragrance of those who have truly died with Christ and risen again.

“Now, the “Lord” I’m referring to is the Holy Spirit, and wherever he is Lord, there is freedom. We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”

2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:17-18‬ ‭TPT‬‬

New days are coming. Days of rapid change, days of an onslaught of change. You will have a role to play in the external change. Do not neglect the internal change I Am bringing. Do not neglect the internal change for which I Am calling. Do not try to escape the pressure cooker of personal death and resurrection before the valve is released. I Am perfecting you in a more perfect way. And I will release you with a boldness and with an unapologetic fragrance of the burial and resurrection, of the baptism of the saints, of the truly washed in the blood love of Me that this generation has not seen, smelled or experienced. These are day of new beginnings. This is the release of My wild ones.

How to Respond

  • Stay firmly planted on Jesus. Do not be moved. Do not be distracted. Keep your heart and eyes trained on Him.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit come. Do the work that You have planned. I want to be made into one who more vibrantly, more truly reflects You and carries the fragrance of Christ’s death and resurrection. You are the ever-victorious one and I want my life to be an offering to you. I want to be a bold, vibrant one, transformed in power as an unapologetic servant of Christ my King.
  • Declare, great is the Lord and greatly to be praised. The Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness therein. Christ’s Kingdom is the unshakeable Kingdom. In Him I will not be moved.
  • Decree, I will submit to the pressurized change that the Lord has prescribed. I will remain in the posture of submission to change until He releases the valve and releases me from the pressure cooker as bold, vibrant and very free. I will carry the fragrance of Christ, and I will unapologetically go after the things He has called me to do.
