Today’s Reading:
Jeremiah 31
8 “Behold, I am bringing them from the north country,
Jeremiah 31:8-11
And I will gather them from the remote parts of the earth,
Among them the blind and the lame,
The woman with child and she who is in labor with child, together;
A great company, they will return here.
9 “With weeping they will come,
And by supplication I will lead them;
I will make them walk by streams of waters,
On a straight path in which they will not stumble;
For I am a father to Israel,
And Ephraim is My firstborn.”
10 Hear the word of the Lord, O nations,
And declare in the coastlands afar off,
And say, “He who scattered Israel will gather him
And keep him as a shepherd keeps his flock.”
11 For the Lord has ransomed Jacob
And redeemed him from the hand of him who was stronger than he.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
My heart is for the broken children. My heart is for the lost, the forgotten, the broken and abused. My heart breaks for the fatherless, the alone, the tormented and confused. My heart is for the fatherless. My heart is for the orphaned in spirit and in truth. They are not alone. They are not alone. My glory, My Spirit, My manifest presence is coming. Like an unexpected mist, I will pour in almost unnoticed, and I will settle on the lives, the hearts, the bodies of these orphaned, broken, mutilated ones who have learned to hate their bodies and themselves.
12 “They will come and shout for joy on the height of Zion,
Jeremiah 31:12-14
And they will be radiant over the bounty of the Lord—
Over the grain and the new wine and the oil,
And over the young of the flock and the herd;
And their life will be like a watered garden,
And they will never languish again.
13 “Then the virgin will rejoice in the dance,
And the young men and the old, together,
For I will turn their mourning into joy
And will comfort them and give them joy for their sorrow.
14 “I will fill the soul of the priests with abundance,
And My people will be satisfied with My goodness,” declares the Lord.
I will settle on them like a blanket of assurance, and I will cover them like a loving father. I will breathe life into dead and dry bones again. I will breathe life into dead and hollow, sunken spirits again. And they will become a regenerated, a reformed, a renewed army of mighty whole, healed soldiers whose eyes and hearts burn with a passion for their Savior and Redeemer, the Lover of their souls, Jesus. They will walk with holy, powerful, immovable assurance; and they will sing beautiful songs to their Savior. Their songs will fill the airwaves and overtake the lies of the media, of the false culture narrative, of the dark kingdom.
15 Thus says the Lord,
Jeremiah 31:15-17
“A voice is heard in Ramah,
Lamentation and bitter weeping.
Rachel is weeping for her children;
She refuses to be comforted for her children,
Because they are no more.”
16 Thus says the Lord,
“Restrain your voice from weeping
And your eyes from tears;
For your work will be rewarded,” declares the Lord,
“And they will return from the land of the enemy.
17 “There is hope for your future,” declares the Lord,
“And your children will return to their own territory.
My beautiful restored children will arise as one, and they will know they are loved, whole, saved, delivered, accepted and redeemed. They will know whose they are and who they are, and they will burn with a passion and fire, with truth never seen or experienced before. They will carry torches of fiery purity and truth, and they will not be shaken. They will not be drawn off course, off message or off track. They will rise as one, speak as one, love as one and live as one. I Am their great Redeemer and their reward. Watch this on My redemption tour. I will not leave this forgotten and exploited group untouched. They will be My fiercest warriors. They will be made new.
How to Respond
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. We long for You to reach the broken, rejected, confused, abused and manipulated ones, the fatherless and the alone. Lord, reveal Yourself to them, heal them and show them who You designed them to be. Give them a revelation of who You are and who they are. Transform hearts, lives and restore broken and maimed bodies Lord. We know You can. Only You can. Thank You for seeing each of us Lord and for having a plan to rescue us from the pit.
- Declare, the Earth’s is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. The Lord will have a mighty superabundant harvest. The Lord will leave no stone uncovered to reach His lost and broken sheep.
- Decree, these are days of a mighty move of the Lord, of a mighty restoration to the Lord, of a mighty transformation like the world has never seen. We will see outcasts, wanderers, sexually abused, maimed and manipulated ones restored by the love of Jesus en masse. This will be a Jesus Revolution like the world has never seen.
