Today’s Readings:
Psalm 31-34
3 O magnify the Lord with me,
Psalm 34:3-5
And let us exalt His name together.
4 I sought the Lord, and He answered me,
And delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces will never be ashamed.
The Lord says,
Pursue Me, as I Am in pursuit of you. Desire Me, as My greatest desire is for you. Seek My heart, My face, My ways. Make Me number one. Fill your heart to the overflow with love and desire for Me. And watch as your life is transformed. Watch as your perspective is transformed. Watch as your ways and your priorities, your concerns and your desires all change.
8 O taste and see that the Lord is good;
Psalm 34:8-9
How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
9 O fear the Lord, you His saints;
For to those who fear Him there is no want.
I will never leave you nor forsake you. I have always been and always will remain right here by your side. I Am the immovable unchanging One. You can count on Me as anchor, as true north, as faithful beyond measure. Trust and desire should go hand in hand. They should feed each other. Your desire for Me and what your pursuit of Me reveals about Me builds trust. And that trust stirs greater desire. It is a cyclical building.
19 How great is Your goodness,
Psalm 31:19-21
Which You have stored up for those who fear You,
Which You have wrought for those who take refuge in You,
Before the sons of men!
20 You hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the conspiracies of man;
You keep them secretly in a shelter from the strife of tongues.
21 Blessed be the Lord,
For He has made marvelous His lovingkindness to me in a besieged city.
You desire truth. You desire something, someone you can trust in this shaking world full of noise, lies and chaos. Pursue Me. You will find what you desire in Me. You will find all of your needs are met in Me and through Me. You will find peace and rest for your weary and battle torn soul in My Presence. Come. Seek Me. Pursue Me. Sit with Me. Dwell with Me. Receive a fresh outpouring of My glory. Receive refreshing and revelation from My wellspring of living water. You were never meant to do this alone. You were never meant to have to struggle so hard. Join your faith to Me. Set your gaze on Me. Shift your burden to Me. I Am here, and I Am for you.
11 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous ones;
Psalm 32:11
And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart.
This is a critical recharging time before the next battle. The enemy forces are regrouping, and though they are losing, though they are on the back foot, and the momentum has turned in our favor, they won’t stop until they are made to stop. So celebrate this big victory for life. Recoup, recover. Dwell with Me and get refreshing. Get fresh revelation, fresh downloads, a fresh wind of energy, and get your marching orders. This next battle will be extremely sharp and intense, but it will be very short lived.
16 The king is not saved by a mighty army;
Psalm 33:16-22
A warrior is not delivered by great strength.
17 A horse is a false hope for victory;
Nor does it deliver anyone by its great strength.
18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope for His lovingkindness,
19 To deliver their soul from death
And to keep them alive in famine.
20 Our soul waits for the Lord;
He is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart rejoices in Him,
Because we trust in His holy name.
22 Let Your lovingkindness, O Lord, be upon us,
According as we have hoped in You.
Come and get what you need for victory. Come sit at My feet, and be filled. Stir up joy, love, expectation of victory, vision and faith. This is for the nations. This fight is for the whole world. It’s for freedom, truth, justice and righteous rule. Keep pressing in to Me. Keep pushing — in prayer, in declarations, in civic action. We will see the victory.
How to Respond
- Make the pursuit of the Lord your number one priority.
- Lean in to the Lord, and get wisdom and instruction from Him. Be quick to be obedient.
- Pray, Lord, thank You for the victory that You brought this week with the end to federal protection for abortions. Thank You for the states who have already shut down abortions and for those who are making moves to do so. Help us to not back down in the fight. Give us refreshing and strategy for this next battle. And show us the path to victory.
- Declare, the Lord loves my pursuit of Him, and my desire for Him. As I pursue Him diligently and with a pure heart, He will reveal Himself, His ways, His wisdom. He will partner with me in all that I do. I won’t do it alone. I will walk forward hand in hand with the Creator of the Universe. Whom or what shall I fear?
- Decree, the forces of evil, darkness and wickedness will not prevail. Though they shriek and shout, their lies and their deception fall flat. Their plans will fail. Their plans are being interrupted and confused by angel armies on assignment. Our prayers, worship, declarations and decrees weaken the enemy and cause chaos in their camp. Those with the Lord will prevail.
