Psalm 23
”Yahweh is my best friend and my shepherd. I always have more than enough. He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace near the quiet brook of bliss. That’s where he restores and revives my life. He opens before me the right path and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honor to his name.“
Psalms 23:1-3 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God says,
You are the ward of My servant Jesus. You are the sheep of His pasture, the flock of His safe keeping. You are the ward of My servant Jesus. In Him you will find rest and peace. In Him, you can put your hope, and your hope will never ever, no never be disappointed in Him. He is the light and your salvation. He is the one who leads you to rest. He leads you beside still waters, and He comforts you. He guides you and protects you. He prepares a table for you in the presence of your enemies. You will enjoy the feast of many victories in the presence, in the full view of your enemies. They are not your enemies. They are Mine. They hate Me. They hate truth. They hate justice. They hate righteousness. They hate anything of Me. They hate My children. It’s not about you. It’s about Me.
”Even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for you already have! Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for you are near. You become my delicious feast even when my enemies dare to fight. You anoint me with the fragrance of your Holy Spirit; you give me all I can drink of you until my cup overflows. So why would I fear the future? Only goodness and tender love pursue me all the days of my life. Then afterward, when my life is through, I’ll return to your glorious presence to be forever with you!“
Psalms 23:4-6 TPT
You are the ward of My servant, Jesus. He is the light, the guide and the keeper. He holds your destiny in His hands, and He will protect it and guard it as it unfolds along your walk with Him. The days of your destiny are even now unfolding in His hands. Walk in lockstep with Him. Remain in His perfect, brilliant light. And watch in amazement, wonder and awe as your destiny unfurls in ways you could have never hoped, dreamed or imagined. Your destiny in the faithful and secure hands of King Jesus will take you places and connect you with people that you could not have fathomed.
Put your whole trust and your whole heart right into the trustworthy hands of your Savior King and Perfect Shepherd Jesus. He will not lead you astray. He will not lead you to failure. He will not lead you to a broken heart. He will take you from glory to glory. Every triumph, every victory exists in Him, because He has already won them all.
”God, all at once you turned on a floodlight for me! You are the revelation-light in my darkness, and in your brightness I can see the path ahead. With you as my strength I can crush an enemy horde, advancing through every stronghold that stands in front of me. Yahweh, what a perfect God you are! All Yahweh’s promises have proven true. What a secure shelter for all those who turn to hide themselves in you, the wraparound God.“
Psalms 18:28-30 TPT
Say yes to Jesus. Go all in with Jesus. Submit to His faithful guidance, protection and shielding. He will lead you on the glorious way. He will light your path and reveal bit by bit, day by day a brilliant destiny that far surpasses any expectations that you could have ever had, hoped or imagined. In Him is indeed the fullness of joy, and pleasures are found at His right hand forevermore. He is your strength and shield. He is a strong tower of refuge and strength — a very present help in times of trouble. Don’t fear the winds. Don’t fear the waves. Tuck yourself securely under the arm of your Savior King Jesus, and He will lead you safely on.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, help me to submit fully to the guidance, protection and lordship of my King and Savior, Jesus. I want to be one who is entwined as one with You. I don’t want to wander off on my own. I want to walk in lockstep with You and live in the delight and pleasure of Your Presence. Help me to stay on track right here with You. Thank You that You love to walk with me, to partner with me and to reveal destiny to me as I delight and commune with You, as I trust and rely on You.
- Declare, great is the Lord and worthy of all glory, honor and praise. He holds the times and seasons and my destiny in His trustworthy hands. He guides me, comforts me and gives me rest. He is my great salvation. In Him is no shifting shadow. He will prepare for me banquet tables to celebrate many victories in the presence of my enemies. Truly they are His enemies, not mine. Even now, I pray they change sides and become children of God and enemies no longer.
- Decree, I will sing my praises and set my eyes and trust on my Savior-King Jesus. He is the One who unerringly guides me. He has prepared good works for me in advance, and as I walk with Him, He will reveal my destiny to me —- bit by bit, day by day. I will walk from glory to glory and advance in victory as I remain in Him.
