Proverbs 4
Isaiah 43:1-21
Isaiah 62

Now, this is what Yahweh says:
“Listen, Jacob, to the One who created you,
Israel, to the one who shaped who you are.
Do not fear,
for I, your Kinsman-Redeemer, will rescue you.
I have called you by name, and you are mine.
2 When you pass through the deep, stormy sea,
you can count on me to be there with you.
When you pass through raging rivers,
You will not drown.
When you walk through persecution like fiery flames,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not harm you,
3 for I am your Savior, Yahweh, your mighty God,
the Holy One of Israel!
I give up Egypt as the price to set you free,
Cush and Seba in exchange to bring you back.

Isaiah 43:1-3

The Lord says,
You are as a beautiful, luscious, improbable rose growing in the desert. You are an overcomer. You are victorious. You are coming out the other side, and you are more beautiful for it than when you started. You have Holy Spirit fire inside of you, empowering you, propelling you, and giving you the momentum for victory. Holy Spirit’s power within you is giving you energy, light and life. Holy Spirit is animating you, causing you to shine and giving you the grace and ability to live from up higher in this wilderness, in this dark night of the soul, in the trials and the difficulties.

I see how you have pressed in and how you have pursued Me despite the circumstances and the problems and the burdens. I see you, like a wildflower in the dawn, craning your neck so you can see My face more clearly, despite the weeds and the overgrowth trying to choke you out. You have pursued Me despite the hardships, and My grace has met you. My grace has enabled you. My grace is empowering you and emboldening you and causing you to bloom into something more beautiful and more fragrant and more delightful and stronger than ever before. It is very pleasing in My sight, and it is amazing to those who know you, to those who see you. They see the grace under fire. They see the gentleness under pressure. They see the humility and strength in times of trouble, and it makes an impact. It levels a challenge to their own heart and mind — to seek what you have, to find a way to attain that up higher living. It is beautiful, it is a marvel, and it is a glory in My sight.

18 But the lovers of God walk on the highway of light,
and their way shines brighter and brighter
until the perfect day.

Proverbs 4:18

Stay up here. Stay with Me. Continue to thrive. Continue to push. Continue to seek My face, and I will cause you to prosper. I Am breaking you through to a place of abundance, to a place of wide open spacious living, to a place of freedom. This testing, these trials and difficultiesthat you are persevering through are trying you as with fire. They are refining you like gold. They are testing and reshaping your character, and they are making you trustworthy and fierce. These difficulties are not for nothing. They are producing something in you, and they are fashioning you into a refined, strengthened, more pure you.

Don’t try to go through this alone. Don’t try to do it all yourself in isolation. Don’t put your light under a bushel. You need to shine and work this out in partnership, in friendship, in community because your testimony is powerful, and it is pointing people to Jesus. Let your light so shine before men and women that they know that I Am indeed your God.

3 You will be a beautiful crown held high in the hand of Yahweh,
a royal crown of splendor
held in the open palm of your God!
4 You will never again be called the Abandoned One,
nor will your land be called Deserted.
But you will be called My Delight Is in You,
and your land My Beloved Wife,
for Yahweh finds his delight in you
and he married your land.

Isaiah 62:3-4

I’m so proud of you. I’m so thrilled with how you’ve grown, who you are and who you are becoming each day. You are looking more and more like a reflection of Me, your Father in Heaven, each day. It’s beautiful, and I Am so proud. We have so much to celebrate even now.

How to Respond

  • Choose to put the Lord as your first priority and keep Him as first despite the challenges that you face.
  • Choose to worship and live a lifestyle of thanksgiving.
  • Bless the Lord for His grace and for the wisdom and instruction of Holy Spirit to guide you through each moment and each day.
  • Dwell on the truth that the Lord is incredibly proud of you — of who you are and who you are becoming.
  • Choose to celebrate even before the final breakthrough is here.
