Today’s Reading:
Romans 8
“The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!” And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that he is and all that he has. We will experience being co-glorified with him provided that we accept his sufferings as our own.”
Romans 8:14-17 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God says,
My mercies are new every morning. My power is made perfect in weakness. My grace is sufficient in your weakness. My grace goes out from Me and extends to you. It covers you, and it surrounds you. Can you feel My love wash over you like a gentle ocean wave? Can you feel My peace surround you and encircle you, cover you and swallow you whole? These are not only available to you. They are always being extended to you and going out to cover you. Just as the ocean never ceases, My grace, love and peace never stop extending toward you and encircling you.
“So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose. For he knew all about us before we were born and he destined us from the beginning to share the likeness of his Son. This means the Son is the oldest among a vast family of brothers and sisters who will become just like him. Having determined our destiny ahead of time, he called us to himself and transferred his perfect righteousness to everyone he called. And those who possess his perfect righteousness he co-glorified with his Son!”
Romans 8:28-30 TPT
Your life is secure in my hands. My plans are perfect, and they never fail. My perfect genius can be seen in the stars, the trees, the creatures. My Master’s touch can be seen in you, the pinnacle of My creation, My beloved one. Live as royalty. Live as a son, as a daughter of the Most High King. Your King has come. Your King is come. Live as royalty. Carry yourself as royalty, and act as if you are ever in the presence of royalty — because I Am come, because I Am with you, because I have taken up residence inside of you and because your brothers and sisters are royal too. Yours is a kingly service. Yours is a priestly service. Yours is a sacrificial service of love. Love is not cheap. It always costs something. Look how lavish I Am with My love. Look how generously I have poured it out and continually pour it out in your life. I Am your example. Pour out your love. Be generous with it. It is never wasted, and it is a renewable resource. You can always find more in Me, and you can extend it out as yours, as Mine, as ours.
“So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!”
Romans 8:38-39 TPT
They will know you by your love for one another. The mark of My children is love. The mark of My sons and daughters, those in My kingly service, those in My priestly service is love. Lead with love, and let it flow generously from you. This is a sacrificial act of worship to Me. It is beautiful to Me. It shows that you are becoming, you are resembling Me — the source of all love, the one who is love and became the tangible expression of love. Your practice, your choosing to pour out your love to those around you — to those who can return it and those who do not — is beautiful to Me. Be a walking, breathing, living representation of love. As you do, you look like Me.
How to Respond
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Thank You for the love that You lavishly pour out for me continually — unceasingly. Help me to be one who does the same. Help me to generously pour out love to the people You have placed in my life and those who cross my path. I want to live as one who is extraordinarily rich in love and generous with my love. I want to be one whose life points to You, because of the way I love.
- Declare, love never fails.
- Decree, I will walk and live and royalty and as if I am continually in the Presence of royalty, because that is the reality of my life in Christ Jesus, my Lord and King. I will practice what He lived and be one who is generous in pouring out my love to others. I will draw my love from Him. He is the Source of all love.
