Today’s Readings:

Isaiah 61
7 Now I can say to myself and to all,
Psalm 116:7-9
“Relax and rest, be confident and serene,
for the Lord rewards fully those who simply trust in him.”
8 God has rescued my soul from death’s fear
and dried my eyes of many tears.
He’s kept my feet firmly on his path
9 and strengthened me so that I may please him
and walk before Yahweh in his fields of life.
The Lord says,
Amidst the great whipping winds of change, I have released rivers of peace. Reach out and allow your heart, soul and mind to flow in these great calm rivers of My peace. Allow your head to be anointed with the oil of My gladness. Allow your spirit to open up like a parachute in these great driving winds of change and be driven into the new day, the new season, the new era, the new place.
Don’t fight the winds of change. Don’t hold tightly to what you know now, to what you have grown to expect, to your ways of operating. Open your hands and drop these things. Leave those here, for I have already provided new methods, purposes, and new vision in the new place. These old tools won’t serve you there. Be willing to leave much behind and walk lightly, to be driven lightly into the new. Carry only the essentials. And let Me review what you think your essentials list is. This is a season where traveling very light is required.
24 This is the very day of the Lord that brings
Psalm 118:24
gladness and joy, filling our hearts with glee.
Let the oil of My gladness cause expectation and hope, creativity, fun and delight to blossom inside of you and and spring forth. Clinging on to the old ways and even what you know are the temporary ways will only hinder your joy, your enjoyment and your fun. Drop all of these ways and be willing to let My Spirit and the winds of change bring you into a completely new place. In this new place, I have prepared good works for you in advance. In this place, I have planted many surprises and adventures for you to find. Live from a place of great expectation of My good. That will be a new method that you can establish now. It will serve you well in the new place and always.
16 Let joy be your continual feast. 17 Make your life a prayer. 18 And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16
Live in joy. Live in gladness. Dance, celebrate, purpose to laugh and have fun. All of these situations and circumstances that surround your life and that are going on in the world will be there whether you enjoy your life or not. So choose to delight and have fun. Choose to dance and seek new adventures. Watch as your quality of life becomes tremendous as you leave all of these other parts to me while you choose delight and fun and celebration.
61 The mighty Spirit of Lord Yahweh is wrapped around me
Isaiah 61:1-3
because Yahweh has anointed me,
as a messenger to preach good news to the poor.
He sent me to heal the wounds of the brokenhearted,
to tell captives, “You are free,”
and to tell prisoners, “Be free from your darkness.”
2 I am sent to announce a new season of Yahweh’s grace
and a time of God’s recompense on his enemies,
to comfort all who are in sorrow,
3 to strengthen those crushed by despair who mourn in Zion—
to give them a beautiful bouquet in the place of ashes,
the oil of bliss instead of tears,
and the mantle of joyous praise
instead of the spirit of heaviness.
Because of this, they will be known as
Mighty Oaks of Righteousness,
planted by Yahweh as a living display of his glory.
Soon enough, the world will catch up to your posture of great enjoyment. Reality will indeed match your delight and joy-filled approach. Go ahead and get a head start. Why not? The muck and the mire will change, so stop staring at it so intently. Use your time to enjoy rather than to wring your hands and yell at the tv. I Am driving you into change individually and as a family. I Am driving the whole world into change, so don’t get too caught up or too hung up in what you see around you. Soon it will all look very different anyway.
11 In the same way the earth produces its crops
Isaiah 61:11
and seeds spring up in a garden,
so will the Lord Yahweh cause righteousness and praise
to blossom before all the nations!
Keep your eyes on Me. Let My voice and My Presence be your guide and the most important thing. Everything else will come and be made clear in time. In the meantime, dance, celebrate and live with great wide expectations for My good.
How to Respond
- Choose to let go of habits, expectations and mindsets — even ones that have served you well up until now. Release them to the Lord, and ask Him to show you how to operate in this time of change.
- Seek the Lord with great purpose. Spend time with Him, in His Word and in His Presence. Ask Him for fresh vision for you and your family — for a glimpse of where is He is taking you.
- Declare that great days of change are upon you, your family and the world.
- Declare that the Lord is changing things according to His purpose and for your good and your future.
- Worship the Lord through enjoying His creation and finding ways to have pure, unadulterated fun filled with belly laughs.
- Let joy and gladness shine through your face and posture.
