Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 62
62 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent,
Isaiah 62:1-5
And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet,
Until her righteousness goes forth like brightness,
And her salvation like a torch that is burning.
2 The nations will see your righteousness,
And all kings your glory;
And you will be called by a new name
Which the mouth of the Lord will designate.
3 You will also be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord,
And a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
4 It will no longer be said to you, “Forsaken,”
Nor to your land will it any longer be said, “Desolate”;
But you will be called, “My delight is in her,”
And your land, “Married”;
For the Lord delights in you,
And to Him your land will be married.
5 For as a young man marries a virgin,
So your sons will marry you;
And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,
So your God will rejoice over you.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
America is rising from the ashes. America is experiencing a great resurrection. America is rising from the ashes. She is once again assuming her rightful place as a bastion of freedom — of liberty and justice for all. She is resuming her position as a shining city on a hill. The freedom she represents will tower over the nation and the nations of the world. The freedom that she represents will overshadow the nations of the world. She will stand as the beacon and guardian of freedom. She will fiercely guard the freedom of all who fall under her shadow. Her freedom will not only be a beacon to the east. It will also be a beacon to the far west, to the south and to the north. Lady Liberty will not only look to Europe. She will look to, be visible by and inspire people from every corner of the world.
10 Go through, go through the gates,
Isaiah 62:10-11
Clear the way for the people;
Build up, build up the highway,
Remove the stones, lift up a standard over the peoples.
11 Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth,
Say to the daughter of Zion, “Lo, your salvation comes;
Behold His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.”
My grace is free. I have sent it out on the wings of the dawn to carry the standard of freedom. Freedom isn’t free, but where My Spirit reigns there is freedom. Where My grace clears a path, makes a way, freedom can thrive. Liberty is rising. Justice is rising. The heart cry of the people for freedom and their mighty roar demanding it is breaking the surface. Liberty is rising, and she shall not be overcome. Liberty is rising in power, in strength and she is raising up many with her. Those who have grumbled, those who were docile, those who complied, those who rebelled, those who believed and those who were skeptical — all will rise with the war cry, the lion’s roar for freedom as Lady Liberty rises and becomes the focal point of America and the world again.
12 And they will call them, “The holy people,
Isaiah 62:12
The redeemed of the Lord”;
And you will be called, “Sought out, a city not forsaken.”
Liberty and freedom will capture the attention of the whole world. As they rise, as they gain in stature and strength in America, it will embolden and empower and catalyze the breakthrough to liberty for the people of the world. America is rising from he ashes. Lady Liberty is rising from the ashes, and she will tower as a beacon of hope, of promise, of birthright, and possibility for the nations of the world again. She is rising.
How to Respond
- Worship the Lord and sing songs of freedom.
- Pray, Lord, thank You that You are the author of freedom, and that Jesus paid the unthinkably highest price so that every single person could be set free. Lord, thank You for moving so we can live in spiritual and political freedom in America and the nations of the world. Thank You for Your move that is restoring us to freedom.
- Declare, where the Spirit of the Lord reigns, there is freedom. America and freedom are rising from the ashes and will once again be beacons of light and hope to the world.
- Decree, America will be free, and the freedom of America will inspire hope and bring breakthrough for freedom in nations around the world. I will rise up alongside many as we raise our war cry, our lion’s roar for freedom. We will be set free, and we will live free.
