Isaiah 30
Zechariah 9
26 And the light of the full moon will be like the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven days, on the day the Lord binds up the fracture of His people and heals the wound He has inflicted.
Isaiah 30:26
The Lord says,
Healing is on My heart — healing the sick, restoring the broken, refreshing the downtrodden and putting the rejected in families. The change that is coming brings with it the beautiful bandages of restoration. Just as one who restores antiquities and ancient statues may put a paste and a temporary cloth bandage onto the location of the restoration work, so too will the change I Am bringing come with bandages that carry healing salve, restoration spring water and connections of love and life in them. Just as the bandage would stay on the the repaired statue for a short period of time before being removed to reveal the beautiful, unblemished, unbroken place, so too will these bandages of restoration that carry healing, refreshing and connection ultimately fall off to reveal the new, whole, fully restored ones.
18 Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you,
Isaiah 30:18
And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
How blessed are all those who long for Him.
I Am wrapping the world in my bandages of restoration. I Am anointing them with My oil of healing, spring water of refreshing and beautiful blessing of lifelong belonging and connection. Unlike the ancient statue, many of you perceive and intimately know the details of your brokenness, your pain, disconnection and loneliness. How much more cause for celebration will it be then, when those injuries are no longer there? When they are completely healed, restored and blessed?
11 As for you also, because of the blood of My covenant with you,
Zechariah 9:11-12
I have set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.
12 Return to the stronghold, you prisoners who have the hope;
This very day I am declaring that I will restore double to you.
Watch for the days of restoration. They will come in like a whirlwind. It will be like all of a sudden My love, My Presence, My power rushes into the scene. I will move swiftly and powerfully to restore many. It will be such a change of reality, such a change of life as you know it, such a paradigm shift at first. Then you will have a hard time fathoming what life was like before My torrent of change blew in restoration. You will look back on your former life in wonder at how it was even possible to live so dry, so broken, so apart from Me and My touch.
14 Then the Lord will appear over them,
Zechariah 9:14
And His arrow will go forth like lightning;
And the Lord God will blow the trumpet,
And march in the storm winds of the south.
My healing power, My restoration power will be so near and so accessible that the former days will not make sense in the light and reality of My Manifest Presence. Don’t make My promises and the hope I give for what is ahead cause you to be lazy about today. Continue to stand. Continue to push. Continue to war and advance with your words, declarations, praises and decrees. War with your promises, with prophecy and with the relentless drumbeat of truth.
The future does not negate the present. The future should fill you with hope, faith and with the extra strength and determination to stand today, to fight today for your family and for generations to come. Don’t back up. Don’t back down. We are in the final pushes before delivery of My breakthrough. I love you, and I Am warring beside you, with you and for you. My warring angel armies are encamped around you, and they are tearing down enemy strongholds and wrecking the plans and the works of the enemy. As they tear down these strongholds you can see light pierce through the darkness in the place where those once blocked vision and the light of day. Yes, soon all of the enemy’s strongholds will be torn down and destroyed, so that you can see clearly again, you can see reality again. We are nearly there.
How to Respond
- Choose to not back down and not sit out this final push of the spiritual battle.
- Contend in prayer for the future — for your family, community, nation and world. Contend for freedom, the restoration of righteous order, the return of honor, justice and truth to the public square, to schools, homes, relationships and businesses.
- Declare, the Lord and His Angel Armies are warring and pulling down strongholds of the enemy to restore right vision to the people.
- Declare, the Lord will move in power to fulfill His Word of bringing restoration, refreshing, healing and lifelong life-giving connections to the people.
- Declare, the Lord is victorious. He never loses. He never lies, and He never fails. My God is victorious in every battle. We will see, experience and live in the reality of the victory.
