Hold onto the Lord’s Love
The Lord says,
My love is seeing you through the chaos, the confusion, the attacks and the intrusions into your personal life. My love and My grace are carrying you through all of this. The stress, the anger, the constant fighting defense, the frustrations, I see them all. They are as real to Me as they are to you. I see what you are experiencing, how you are trying to stay focused on the most important things — on Me, on faith, on what’s right, on defending truth and protecting freedom. I see how the enemy is warring and fighting against you so hard every day. I see that every battle is hard fought and nothing seems to come with ease. I see it. I see the strain it is causing you personally, the toll it is taking on your emotions, your physical health, your sleep, your relationships — I see it all. I see it, and I Am with you, strengthening you, fighting for you and breathing life into you.
I see that all of these distractions and attacks are the enemy’s strategy meant to take your eyes off of Me, off of My purposes for this season. The strategy of the enemy if he cannot get you to fall, is to get you to be busy, to be fighting battles on every front, to wear you out and wear you down, to make you tired, weak and ineffective. This is his strategy. Can you come up higher and see that happening in your life now? Can you see that playing out now?
It’s Time to Close Doors & Release Burdens
This is a season of immense warfare. Therefore, it is a time to close doors firmly shut. It is a time to refuse entry to drama, to busyness, to the non-essentials, and to those who are not walking in your same purposes in the Lord. It is time to shut the doors firmly on these things, so that you can preserve your energy, your strength and your ability to war for the future. It’s time to close the doors that provide an entry point to the enemy that cause undo stress, work that is not productive, and people who cause drama or bring unnecessary baggage into your life with no intention and no desire to move into alignment with Jesus.
There are people in your life who require ministering to and serving, but these should not have the same access to you as those in your inner circle. Draw firm boundaries around your personal life, your time, your energy and your inner circle. This is key to not getting overextended and not being worn down by the enemy in this hour where the battle is raging on, the sounds of tumult are very loud, and destruction and distractions are all around.
Ruthlessly simplify your life. Drill down to the main points and toss the rest. It is imperative to be focused and stay focused in this hour. Other things that are not serving you are emotional baggage — like unforgiveness, bitterness, hurt, envy, a constant need to keep up or compare. Stop it. What are these things doing for you? Nothing. You are serving them. You are serving them with your emotional energy, with your restless nights, with your endless scrolling, with your tears, and with your credit card. Stop serving these things that only take yet return nothing to you. They lead to sickness, poverty, unhappiness and death. Instead, focus your energies and your efforts on the few areas I have called you to be faithful in this hour. This is a time to cut away the unnecessary, the unhelpful, and the unbeneficial things. We are to go into this new season light, with few cares and minimal burden.
The Lord is Faithful
The Lord says,
I Am faithful. Know that I Am faithful. I Am at your side. I Am just a call of your voice away. Ask Me. I will be faithful to show you, to answer you on how to clear the decks, how to say no, what boundaries to set up, what people to cut loose, what repentance needs to take place. I Am faithful, and I will lead you in a way that provides release and freedom and the ability to breathe deep big fresh lung-fulls of air. I will not press you with guilt or shame. Those are the marks of the enemy. Those are his tactics, and they only serve to cause further emotional distress and lead to worse decisions. My voice and My leading feels like a sudden understanding, a realization, a name, a pinpoint of conviction that requires action. My prompting is never backward looking without redemption. It only looks back to address a root, not to lay blame. Learn My voice and My ways. Stop believing the lies of the enemy that say I bring guilt or shame or punishment. No. I move to bring freedom, redemption, release and purpose. You can discern and feel the difference.
The Lord’s Tidal Wave of Justice
The Lord says,
I Am moving in a great tidal wave of justice. The enemy can sense it, and that is why the level of chaos is rising, why the distractions, disruptions and destruction globally has reached an insane level. But My tidal wave of justice is coming and will rise higher than all of the enemy’s tactics, all of his destructive moves, all of his evil ways and plans. I Am moving, and My Presence will be known. My Presence will be great and undeniable, and I will bring justice in the wake of My arrival.
Live Differently
The Lord says,
Get your hopes up, and hold on to hope. Be an ambassador of hope as you go out. Live with a heart full of faith and love. It will make all the difference. Operate in the opposite spirit to evil. Notice when the enemy is trying to bait you into a reaction and into participating in his schemes for division. Is it gossip? Is it agreeing with someone against another in a hurtful way? Is it choosing to be offended? Is it lashing out in anger? When these opportunities to partner with the tactics of the enemy arise, do the opposite. Bless and do not curse. Choose love and forgiveness over offense and accusation. This dismantles the enemy’s power to bring destruction, disaster and chaos into your life at the most important points — your relationships.
How to Respond
- Be a lover of the Lord who carries joy.
- Take steps to simplify your life and your inner circle. Peace and clarity will be your reward.
- Ask the Lord for help in doing this. You’ll know that He’s already instructing if things and names immediately spring to mind. Don’t hesitate. Act now. There’s a reward for quick obedience.
- Keep a short account of sins in your life. Ask for and give forgiveness freely. Don’t wait, don’t hold back, and don’t hold onto offense. Let it go.
- Bind the work of the enemy with declarations out loud like this, “In the Name of Jesus, I bind the eyes, ears, mouth, plans, tactics and strategies of the enemy in this place, against me and my family (business, etc.). I break them off, stomp on them, destroy them, and place them at the feet of Jesus to be judged.” This will help you to keep the atmosphere where you are clear of unwanted emotional, mental and physical intrusions. Remember, you have been given all authority in Christ Jesus.
- Ask the Lord for other actions that put you in a proactive, offensive stance rather than reactive and defensive one. We are called to advance.
