37 Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and his demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything!
38
So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. 39 There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!

Romans 8:37-39

The Lord Longs for Your Love

The Lord says,
My heart is for My people, and My desire is for deep, personal intimate connection — unbroken, constant connection with My people. My desire is to be loved, to be seen, to be desired by the people. My desire is that the people would wake up and see and understand and hear and perceive what is really going on around them, that they would have a revelation of Who I Am. The enemy has been spreading lies since the beginning of time. Jesus has defeated the enemy, but the enemy has been allowed to roam for some time longer. (Revelation 1:17-18, Daniel 7:7-14) You have been given the authority to to render him weak, powerless and ineffective. This authority is in your hands. (Luke 10:19-20)

The enemy is roaming around powerfully, spreading lies, sickness and death because the Church, My True Believers, have not risen in their Christ-given authority. It’s time to rise up Church! It’s time to rise up! It’s time to grab ahold of the authority that has been bought and paid for and given to you. It’s time to wrestle back this world from the rule of the enemy. It is time to have dominion. It is time to fill the earth and subdue it. (Genesis 1:28) When you neutralize the enemy, you are partnering with Me in My plan to open eyes, ears and hearts. The constant work of the lies of the enemy has made it impossible for people to see through the thick fog. It has made it impossible for them to ask questions, to discern or even care about the truth. It’s time for My Church, My true lovers, to fight and to war for the future of their brothers, sisters, neighbors and friends. (2 Corinthians 4:1-6)

I desire that none should perish, but that all should have everlasting life, accepting the free gift of salvation and redemption from the hand of Jesus. (John 3:16) I desire that we all dwell together in unity, communion and love. (John 17:20-23) I desire that we make great advances for civilization and that the next generation of children grows up in a very very different world, one where evil is far from them. (Isaiah 11:6-9) I desire a nation and a world that is marked by righteousness, justice, and peace, whose pillars are truth and love, and whose doorway is open to all, though it is guarded by fierce warriors of faith, truth and justice.

You Must Fight

The Lord says,
The weapons of your warfare are not carnal. They are mighty to take down strongholds. (2 Corinthians 10:3-4) What are your weapons? Let’s review them — worship, first and foremost worship. (2 Chronicles 20:17-22) This sends the enemy running. He cannot remain in the place of genuine worship. It must be pure. It must be true. This will have him flee the scene. What else? The sword of the Spirit. What is this? This is the wisdom of how to act — both offensively and defensively in a battle or attack. (Hebrews 4:12-13, John 16:13-15) These are declarations and prophecy, these are the Words of the Lord stored up in your heart from scripture, these are the reminders of your own identity and place in Christ versus the place of the enemy.

Is a warrior concerned with his appearance in the midst of battle? No. The warrior is intensely engaged in the fight. There may be some strange sounding instructions that I, the Lord Your God, command during the heat of the battle. You should not flinch, you should not hesitate. You should act. Swift obedience in the battle will conserve your energy, it will end the fight in a decisive way, and it will have it’s reward. It may look or sound strange, but what’s more important? Your ego? Your appearance? Or your obedience to your Lord and winning the battle with Him? (Hebrews 11:13-16, 33)

Many of your weapons require your voice. Some will require physical action — prophetic acts, dance in worship. The Sword of the Spirit works by the move of My Spirit. Be attuned to My move. Be attuned to My voice and My prompting. You are at war. This is no place for vanity. This is a place where obedience releases the very supernatural power of God, and that will beat back and defeat the forces of darkness that you face.

Joy is a weapon because it protects your heart and mind from attack. Choosing joy is an active and proactive defense for your own mind, but it is an offensive weapon against lies, bad reports and discouragement. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) Choosing joy and refusing discouragement wears down the energy of the enemy. Make your mind and heart an impenetrable fortress that you controlthat only you control what goes in and what goes out. You take every thought captive and make it submit to Jesus. You do that. That is an act of war. (2 Corinthians 10:5-6)

Play and delight in creation — pure pleasure is so confusing to the enemy. It too is an act of worship.
(2 Thessalonians 1:11-12)

Be loving against all odds. Be gentle in your relationships and relentless in protecting your home from invasions of the enemy. Refuse to give division entry. Refuse to give lies entry. Refuse to give disunity entry. Refuse to give criticism entry. Make your home a sacred space, an altar to the Lord. (1 Corinthians 13:4-7) Make it a holy place, marked by love, unity and constant watchful gardening to keep out the weeds and the foxes who try to steal, kill and destroy the beautiful works that you are cultivating with Me. (Song of Songs 2:15)

The Lord is Pursuing Us

The Lord says,
I Am pursuing My lovers and drawing them in deeper — into deeper relationship, into a clearer understanding of their calling, into a a purer revelation of Who I Am. And I Am drawing many hearts that have been far from Me. I Am drawing prodigals home. I Am drawing those who have been born as strangers to Me home.
I know them all completely, though they know Me not. I Am calling them out, and I Am drawing them in toward My heart, toward the True North Star, toward the only real safe Home — Me. This is why I Am calling you to war, to battle, to fight. I Am calling you to beat back the works of the enemy so that these ones can have an opening to find their way home.

Co-labor with Me in this. Take hold of your authority in this. It is time to break the strongholds that have built a very treacherous mountain between My people and Me. It’s time to take down those strongholds, and as you do I will cause a landslide, and it will all come crashing down. I Am with you, I am working with you, and I Am instructing you. Partner with Me in this, and together we will pull down this mountain built by evil and level it, to make a way for those who have wandered or been born abroad (in families and belief systems that do not acknowledge Me). The fight is hard. The terrain is treacherous, but the reward is too great to pass up. Fight with Me. Fight on My side. Let’s make the way to get them home safe.

Judgement for Those Who Have Caused Division

The Lord says,
A great judgement awaits those who helped to erect this great division between My people and Me. A great judgement awaits those who have held My people captive with lies or by force. Many of My people have Stockholm Syndrome from the extended amount of time in captivity to lies. It’s time to break those chains. It’s time to open their eyes. Work with Me to break the strongholds and clear the atmosphere so minds and hearts, eyes and ears regain true spiritual function. This is war.

How to Respond

  • Trust in the Lord.
  • Follow His lead to equip yourself and protect yourself in the battle.
  • Ask the Lord to instruct you in the ways of warfare and in the battle no matter how strange it may make you look.
  • Take everything thought captive, and make it submit to Jesus. Make your mind a fortress that dwells on only what is beautiful, pure, holy, lovely, and good. (Philippians 4:8)
  • Make declarations, and pray to bring down the strongholds that the enemy has built to keep people from the Lord.
  • Examples of declarations: I am the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 28:13); I am more than a conquerer through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37); it is the Lord’s will that NONE should perish but ALL should have everlasting life through Christ Jesus (John 3:16); I live in good health even as my soul prospers (3 John 1:2); the battle is the Lord’s and the Lord wins (2 Chronicles 20:15-22); as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15).
  • Ask the Lord how to cultivate a powerful environment of unity and peace in your heart, home and even your business.
