Psalm 46-48
Jeremiah 31
8–9 Everyone look!
Psalm 46:8-9
Come and see the breathtaking wonders of our God.
For he brings both ruin and revival.
He’s the one who makes conflicts end
throughout the earth,
breaking and burning every weapon of war.
The Lord says,
It is Resurrection Season. It is a time where My power will be on display and will be made known throughout the Earth. These are days of returning to the reverential fear of the Lord. These are days of mighty encounters that wreck hearts, birth repentance, reveal true identity and raise up fierce forever-changed warriors of truth, righteousness, justice and holiness. These transformed ones will burn with passion and righteous anger against the lies that they were told and sold and against the deceptions that they bought and consumed. They will rail against the forces of darkness with a fiery rage and a burning passion for those who have not yet met Jesus, who have not yet had an encounter of transformation with the Glory.
5 God arises with the earsplitting shout of his people!
Psalm 47:5
They will rage and war against the forces of darkness to take back territory. They will shut down nasty narratives and filthy corrupted lies that destroy the minds and hearts and lives of people and families. They will have a voice louder than the screeching 1%. They will not be shut down. They will not be cancelled. They will not be shut up. These are the ones running toward and pushing against the advancing gates of hell roaring, “Not on my watch! Back off darkness — you must bow! You must flee, because I bear the name of My Savior and King, Jesus!! They will literally chase off the hounds of hell and render them whimpering and neutered.
16 This is what the Lord says:
Jeremiah 31:16-17
“Restrain your voice from weeping
And your eyes from tears;
For your work will be rewarded,” declares the Lord,
“And they will return from the land of the enemy.
17 There is hope for your future,” declares the Lord,
“And your children will return to their own territory.
Those who the enemy has come after, infiltrated and brought distortion, confusion and perversion to will be the most transformed, most fiery, most enraged, wildest ones of all. The enemy has no idea that he has set himself up for the backlash of the ages. His disgusting lies and destruction of the family WILL NOT STAND. The power of My grace and My glory so far outweigh any lie of hell, that once again, this is no contest. The enemy indeed has come in like a flood against the people. And I, the Lord God Almighty am raising up My war flag against him. THIS IS WAR, AND I HAVE ALREADY WON.
46 God, you’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge!
Psalm 46:1-3
You’re a proven help in time of trouble—
more than enough and always available whenever I need you.
2 So we will never fear
even if every structure of support were to crumble away.
We will not fear even when the earth quakes and shakes,
moving mountains and casting them into the sea.
3 For the raging roar of stormy winds and crashing waves
cannot erode our faith in you.
Pause in his presence
Do not back down My dear one. Do not be disheartened as you see the corruption and the darkness growing, thriving and touching your loved ones. Do not despair. I have overcome the world, and I will cause a great swift shaking that removes the despicable and corrupted things from the scene. I Am wiping the slate clean and setting a new table for a new day. The outcasts and the marginalized, the broken and lonely will all be invited, though those labels won’t fit for long. The labels will drop off as they take a seat at My table. They will wear new labels with the Name of their Savior and King, their Rescuer, the Resurrected One, Jesus. This will be the only label they care about and cling to. The Name of Jesus will reign supreme in their hearts and eyes.
47 Go ahead and celebrate!
Psalm 47:1-2
Come on and clap your hands, everyone!
Shout to God with the raucous sounds of joy!
2 The Lord God Most High is astonishing, awesome beyond words!
He’s the formidable and powerful King over all the earth.
Race forward in joy, at the joy I have set before you. For the days are rapidly approaching where great reversals will happen. Reversals of narrative, reversals of identities assumed, reversals of “facts,” reversals of known history, reversals of winners and losers, reversals of justice and reversals of fortune.
4–6 See how the mighty kings united to come against Zion,
Psalm 48:4-8
yet when they saw God manifest in front of their eyes,
they were stunned.
Trembling, they all fled away, gripped with fear.
Seized with panic, they doubled up in frightful anguish,
like a woman in the labor pains of childbirth.
7 Like a hurricane blowing and breaking the invading ships,
God blows upon them and breaks them to pieces.
8 We have heard about these wonders,
and then we saw them with our own eyes.
For this is the city of the Commander of Angel Armies,
the city of our God, safe and secure forever!
Pause in his presence
I Am bringing in days of sweeping change like a sudden blustery winter day. It will be so rapid and so powerful, that these changes will take your breath away. I will not allow evil to reign, to oppress, to steal, kill and destroy as it has set itself up to do so mercilessly. No, this will be dismantled, taken down and permanently removed from the scene. The structures for freedom will be all that remain. Take heart, for I have overcome the world, and days of powerful unrelenting change are about to blow in.
How to Respond
- Declare, the Lord is moving in power and grace to restore identity and bring great transformation to the people.
- Declare, the Lord is calling the misfits, the outcasts, the broken and the lonely to sit at His fresh table and to take on new identity in Christ.
- Declare, the Lord is raising up wild ones to storm the gates of hell and overcome the narratives and lies of darkness that have been robbing people and families of peace and abundant life.
- Declare, the Lord is causing powerful, unrelenting winds of change to blow in, bring great reversals, to bring justice and to transform the scene.
