Today’s Reading:
1 Chronicles 14
2 Chronicles 20

13 The Philistines made yet another raid in the valley.14 David inquired again of God, and God said to him, “You shall not go up after them; circle around behind them and come at them in front of the balsam trees. 15 It shall be when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then you shall go out to battle, for God will have gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines.”16 David did just as God had commanded him, and they struck down the army of the Philistines from Gibeon even as far as Gezer. 17 Then the fame of David went out into all the lands; and the Lord brought the fear of him on all the nations.

1 Chronicles 14:13-17

The Spirit of the Lord says,
We have overcoming victory in Jesus. In Him, we have and we can overcome the world. Trust in His overcoming power for victory. Trust that I Am the one who made Jacob sneaky, though he did not always use it for good. Jacob was like His Father in Heaven. He was the usurper. I have many times before and I will again usurp the enemy on behalf of My beloved ones. I Am the God of strategy, and I Am the God of sneaky and surprise attacks. My knowledge and insight has no end. Of course I know the enemy. Of course I know exact location coordinates, exact battle plans and the players he intends to put forward. Do you think the battle is too great for Me? I can see it all stretched out before Me. I see every move he has made, intends to make and every step that this rotten enemy takes in this world and to the detriment of My people. I Am neither intimidated nor afraid. I see it all. I made them all. Whom or what shall I fear?

20 They rose early in the morning and went out to the wilderness of Tekoa; and when they went out, Jehoshaphat (name meaning: Yaweh has judged) stood and said, “Listen to me, O Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, put your trust in the Lord your God and you will be established. Put your trust in His prophets and succeed.” 21 When he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who sang to the Lord and those who praised Him in holy attire, as they went out before the army and said, “Give thanks to the Lord, for His lovingkindness is everlasting.” 22 When they began singing and praising, the Lord set ambushes against the sons of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; so they were routed. 23 For the sons of Ammon and Moab rose up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir destroying them completely; and when they had finished with the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another.

2 Chronicles 20:20-23

I love a surprise attack at the hands of one who was believed to be a familiar friend. I love using mutiny in the camp of the enemy. It accomplishes much, it availeth much, and it has the least collateral damage. For warriors, it is also great fun to watch your enemy destroy themself. Your enemy is not the people. It is the spirit driving the people. It is the spirit that the people have permitted and with which are in agreement. This is the spirit that has brought great decay, great rot, great stench and degradation to my beautiful ones. This spirit is a destroyer of identity, of life, of creation, of personal grounding, of family. This spirit is like a virus that is transmitting deception, self-hate and warped vision. It’s time to let that enemy fall into its own ambush and destroy itself.

The destruction of this spirit, the removal of this toxic spirit will open eyes, will remove a great veil of deception that has played false realities on the screens of peoples’ minds and eyes. The lies will be cleared away like a dense fog departing, and they will be left in their right minds, with a clean house and an open heart to the Lord and to the Lord of all truth.

24 When Judah came to the lookout of the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude, and behold, they were corpses lying on the ground, and no one had escaped. 25 When Jehoshaphat (Yaweh has judged) and his people came to take their spoil, they found much among them, including goods, garments and valuable things which they took for themselves, more than they could carry. And they were three days taking the spoil because there was so much.
26
Then on the fourth day they assembled in the valley of Beracah, for there they blessed the Lord. Therefore they have named that place “The Valley of Beracah” (blessing) until today. 27 Every man of Judah and Jerusalem returned with Jehoshaphat (Yaweh has judged) at their head, returning to Jerusalem with joy, for the Lord had made them to rejoice over their enemies. 28 They came to Jerusalem with harps, lyres and trumpets to the house of the Lord. 29 And the dread of God was on all the kingdoms of the lands when they heard that the Lord had fought against the enemies of Israel. 30 So the kingdom of Jehoshaphat was at peace, for his God gave him rest on all sides.

2 Chronicles 20:24-30

Trust, obey and speak the truth. The speaking of truth disrupts and distracts the enemy — this spirit — from it’s plan. It can’t stand and operate in the face of truth. Speak the truth. Speak it again and again and again. It will so agitate the enemy, that it begins to make irrational wild choices. Speak truth. Pummel this spirit of wickedness and decay with My immutable Spirit of Truth. Speak the truth. Sing the truth. Say only the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

The truth alone triumphs. The truth will cause this spirit to self- destruct. Watch as the truth brings the victory. Partner with the truth. Worship Me in spirit and in truth. Be steadfast and dedicate yourself and your life to truth. The truth will set you free. The truth will set many free. The truth is the ultimate key. Hold fast to truth. Buy it, and do not sell it. Invest heavily in the truth. It will pay eternal dividends.

How to Respond

  • Ask the Lord to give you eyes to see and ears to hear the truth. Ask for discernment.
  • Spend time in worship. Immerse yourself in adoration of the Lord.
  • Put on the full armor of God daily, so that you are equipped for all that confronts you.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit, thank You that You are the Spirit of Truth. Thank You for living inside of me, for comforting, directing and guiding me. Give me wisdom for the days in which we live. Help me to partner with you to provoke the self-destruction of the lying and tormenting, thieving demonic spirits that are pervasive in the world around me.
  • Decree, the truth alone triumphs. The truth will win every time, and I am firmly with the Lord on the side of truth.
  • Declare, the enemy will fall into the ambush of his own making. These wicked tormenting demonic spirits will be provoked and confused by the truth in such a measure that they destroy themselves and leave the people free.
