The Lord says, It is a disorienting moment. It feels like the earth beneath you is shaking and swaying, and you have no control. Things that you were once able to rely on are now shifting and uncertain.
The Lord says, You feel the wounds from the battle. You feel the toll it has taken upon your heart and mind and spirit. You are battle weary My dear one. Your eyes are filled to the brim with tears, and your heart is bruised and hurting. Look up My child.
The Lord says, Let joy bubble forth. Let joy and hope bubble up and out of your heart. Let it touch others and be contagious. This is a new day. This is a new season. This is a new era. And life is going to be different here. Let your anticipation and your excitement bubble forth.
The Lord says, Don’t you worry about a thing. It will not add one minute to your life, and it will certainly steal enjoyment of the minutes you have. Don’t let the sorrow engulf you. Don’t let the pain penetrate your heart and make a home there.
The Lord says, Dwell in peace. Dwell with a recognition of My holiness. Stir up joy and expectation in your heart. The days are hard, but you don’t have to be hardened by them. The days are long, but you don’t have to live in defeat and exhaustion. Stir up joy. Stir up hope. Stir up expectation, and live from up higher.
The Lord says, I Am holy. I Am the Lord, and I Am One. There is no other god beside me. Dwell in the place of My holiness. Ask for the reverential fear of the Lord. That awe comes by a revelation and a glimpse of My holiness.
The Lord says, I Am the faithful One. I Am the One who never leaves you nor forsakes you. I Am the steadfast One, the champion, defender, and undefeatable warrior. I Am leading you into green pastures. I Am leading you into new fields. I Am leading you into unfamiliar territory, change and surprises.
The Lord says, Joy is on My heart — indescribable, unending joy. Joy that seems out of place in such darkness and trouble. Joy that can’t be penned up. This is the joy of the Lord. The joy of the Lord is your strength, and it is a mighty weapon. It breaks the powers of darkness and carries you through impossible circumstances. I Am making deposits of ecstatic joy in the hearts of My people.
The Lord says, Worship and laughter are the best medicine. Rest. Relax. Take big deep belly breaths. Drop your shoulders. Unclench your teeth, soften your gaze and look up. Remember I Am above it all. I cause the road to rise up to meet you. Though nothing seems certain, though the storm and the waves are still tossing you, remain anchored in Me and look up.
The Lord says, Don’t forget that worship is a weapon, and it is a mighty defense against the enemy. Worship, praise, sing, dance. It’s vital in this time of the squeezing, the pushing, the ramping up of increasing pressure. Worship. Praise. Encourage yourself in Me, and you will find breathing room.
