Revelation 10
James 2
“My dear brothers and sisters, what good is it if someone claims to have faith but demonstrates no good works to prove it? How could this kind of faith save anyone? For example, if a brother or sister in the faith is poorly clothed and hungry and you leave them saying, “Good-bye. I hope you stay warm and have plenty to eat,” but you don’t provide them with a coat or even a cup of soup, what good is your faith? So then faith that doesn’t involve action is phony. But someone might object and say, “One person has faith and another person has works.” Go ahead then and prove to me that you have faith without works and I will show you faith by my works as proof that I believe. You can believe all you want that there is one true God, that’s wonderful! But even the demons know this and tremble with fear before him, yet they’re unchanged—they remain demons.”

The Spirit of the Living God says,
Get out of negativity. Get off of the sidelines. Get into the anointing that Holy Spirit has lavishly poured out on your life. Pick up the orders, the instructions, the vision that the Lord has clearly given you to you, and get in the race. Get in the fight. Don’t worry about the battle plans and the strategies and instructions I have given others. That’s of no concern to you. Your job is to get out of negativity. Get out of the poverty mindset. Look at the lavish grace I have supplied in your life and get moving. Do you want to be a spectator? The race has already started. Get into the anointing. Jump into the instruction and accelerate with the grace I have given you. Go, go, go is the word.
“O feeble sons of Adam, do you need further evidence that faith divorced from good works is phony? Wasn’t our ancestor Abraham found righteous before God because of his works when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? Can’t you see how his action cooperated with his faith and by his action faith found its full expression? So in this way the Scripture was fulfilled: Because Abraham believed God, his faith was exchanged for God’s righteousness. So he became known as the lover of God! So now it’s clear that a person is seen as righteous in God’s eyes not merely by faith alone, but by his works. And the same is true of the prostitute named Rahab who was found righteous in God’s eyes by her works, for she received the spies into her home and helped them escape from the city by another route. For just as a human body without the spirit is a dead corpse, so faith without the expression of good works is dead!”

The time for navel gazing and vacillating between two opinions is through. You know the plans I’ve put in your heart. Refuse fear, cut the ties and run the race I have placed in your heart. If not now, when? If not you, then who? Who will go? Who will blaze this trail that I have marked out with your name on it? Don’t shirk your race, your instruction, your pioneering path to play it safe. Don’t cede it to another. Trust Me, I have plenty enough for everyone to do. Each must pick up their own baton and run. The race is the fun part. The race is the grace part. You can’t get this kind of momentum, this type of speed, this kind of favor if you are off on another track. You must be accelerating hard on the track I have laid out in front of you my dear. You. I’m looking at you.
“Then the mighty angel whom I saw astride the sea and the land raised his right hand to heaven and swore an oath by him who lives for an eternity of eternities, the Creator of heaven and earth and sea and all that is in them: No more delay!”

The time for double-mindedness is through. Birth the thing that is in your heart. Take the keys of this gorgeous dream, this breathtaking and even intimidating assignment — this thing that gets fire started in your heart, and drive. This is the race. This is the moment. The keys are in your hand. Have fun with it.
How to Respond
- The Lord is calling you to refuse fear and follow His instruction to adventure, greatness and fulfillment in Him.
- Pray, Holy Spirit, help me to stop repeatedly calculating the cost of following You. I know the cost well. Help me to take the plunge. Help me to leave the ho-hum, the average, the predictable behind and grab the keys to the dream You have placed in my heart, the race You have had marked out with my name on it since before time began. Help me live in love-filled abandon to You. Cause the fear of the Lord to become greater in my heart than the fear of man or consequences.
- Declare, The Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. He dreamt me up before time began and embedded my soul with purpose. He knit me together in my mother’s womb and placed me at this moment in history with these gifts, skills and abilities to accomplish His purposes in the Earth, in this place. He has never left me, failed me, lied to me or forsaken me. He is the trustworthy, always accessible God. He has never made a mistake with me.
- Decree, I will stop wavering between two opinions. I will quickly and fully obey the call of the Lord. I will not trust in man’s opinion when it is contrary to what God has clearly spoken to me. I will walk by faith, not by sight. I will have no regrets because I will be able to look back and say, “I have followed the Lord my God, my King, Savior and Creator fully. I left nothing on the table. I left no instruction or God-given opportunity undone. I took the keys and got in the race.”
