Today’s Reading:
Psalm 8
“Yahweh, our Sovereign God, your glory streams from the heavens above, filling the earth with the majesty of your name! People everywhere see your splendor. You have built a stronghold by the songs of children. Strength rises up with the chorus of infants. This kind of praise has power to shut Satan’s mouth. Childlike worship will silence the madness of those who oppose you.”

The Spirit of the Lord says,
The children and the babies are on My heart — their growing up in a better world, growing up in a safer, more beautiful, more free, easier to live in world. My heart is for the babies — the ones in the mothers’ wombs. They hold so much potential, so much promise, so much precious joy, life and gifting. I made them for such a time as this. I made them to be born into conflict, so they can appreciate and protect peace, prosperity and freedom when it is wrestled back, when it is experienced again in the Earth.
These babies will storm the gates of hell. The songs of babies will put tens of thousands of demons to flight. The songs and declarations and prophecies of these babies will push back the gates of hell. I have indeed poured out My Spirt on all flesh, and it will be the babies who rise up and take down evil.
“Look at the splendor of your skies, your creative genius glowing in the heavens. When I gaze at your moon and your stars, mounted like jewels in their settings, I know you are the fascinating artist who fashioned it all! But I have to ask this question: Why would you bother with puny, mortal man or care about human beings? Yet what honor you have given to men, created only a little lower than Elohim, crowned with glory and magnificence.”

Babies in the Spirit will have no tolerance for evil. They will know evil. They will have experienced evil. They will have seen and lived the rotting and damning effects of evil, and they will rise up as young babes in Christ and say NO MORE! The babies in the womb will be militant peace keepers, will become watchmen on the wall, will be burning intercessors and wild, radical, faithful warriors of prayer and all forms of spiritual warfare. The babes in the Spirit and those who are being born — those who are incubating and will soon be born again into Christ, through Christ Jesus — they will storm the gates of hell. They they will leave no stone unturned, no work of evil unanswered. They will destroy evil and evict it from the land.
“You have delegated to them rulership over all you have made, with everything under their authority, placing earth itself under the feet of your image-bearers. All the created order and every living thing of the earth, sky, and sea— the wildest beasts and all that move in the paths of the sea — everything is in submission to Adam’s sons. Yahweh, our Sovereign God, your glory streams from the heavens above, filling the earth with the majesty of your name! People everywhere see your splendor!”
Psalms 8:6-9 TPT
You haven’t seen wild warriors of faith. You haven’t seen babies in the Spirit rise up as vicious lions against hell like this before. These newborns in the Spirit will know no limitations because the hand of the Living God has rescued them from the pit and has changed everything for them. They will be the fiery ones, the fiery newborns for whom nothing is impossible. This is a season of babies — babes in the womb and babes being born. It is the season of babies being born physically, and babes in the womb of the Spirit — babies being transformed and born in the Spirit. This is a season of incubation and new birth. This is a season of fiery passionate ones being born. These are the babies of fire. What once consumed them, they will consume and destroy.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, bring the babies. Bring us new, precious life in the physical and in the Spirit. Help us to be the caretakers and disciplers that we need to be in this conflict and war season. Help us to not get in the way of what You are doing and what You have put inside of them. Help us to be ones who teach, encourage, discipline and cause these little ones to fly in the calling and the purpose that You have placed on their lives. Let us be ones who fan the flames and get out of the way, ones who join them in believing that with You anything is possible.
- Declare, The Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness therein. He determines the times and seasons, and He places us on the timeline of human history to accomplish His purposes and to walk in the gifts, anointings and power He has given us. All of Creation has been placed under the authority of the image-bearers of Christ.
- Decree, I will be a faithful mentor, discipler and parent — in the natural and in the spiritual. I will seek the Lord for wisdom on how to train these babies up and equip them for the conflict over which they were born to live in victory. I will fight faithfully alongside them, and I will see the victorious hand of the Lord change our world.
