Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 13-14
Isaiah 49
4 A sound of tumult on the mountains,
Isaiah 13:4
Like that of many people!
A sound of the uproar of kingdoms,
Of nations gathered together!
The Lord of hosts is mustering the army for battle.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
My grace is sufficient for you. My power is made perfect in your weakness. You are in your moment. This is a time of birthing. This is a time of coming into full bloom. This is a time of bursting forth, of new. I have moved you into your time. Change has been happening all around you. Change is what has led you to this place. As change continues to move and disrupt the landscape, I Am planting you, and I Am causing you to bring forth something new. I Am causing you to be established and to birth something new.
3 He said to Me, “You are My Servant, Israel,
Isaiah 49:3, 8
In Whom I will show My glory.”
8 Thus says the Lord,
“In a favorable time I have answered You,
And in a day of salvation I have helped You;
And I will keep You and give You for a covenant of the people,
To restore the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages;
This is a season of birthing, of delivery, of new. Even as the landscape continues to shift around you and continues to grow less familiar, even though it’s more difficult to recognize the world in which you live, I Am bringing forth something of light and grace and power from you. This is a birthing season of power. This is a birthing season of strength, courage and a readiness to run into battle. This is a season that births warriors, that births game changers. This is the birthing season that causes the tide to turn. This is the season where it becomes abundantly obvious, if it never was before that more are with us than are with them. It becomes abundantly obvious that we will take the land, come what may. It becomes so very clear that good, truth, righteousness and justice will prevail. Because I Am birthing warriors, and I Am birthing something new in you that will not take no for an answer, will not accept even the thought of losing. When it comes to losing ground to the prevailing powers of darkness, when it comes to evil grasping for more, these warriors and all that I have birthed in My warriors to fight in this time will rise up with a united roar of NO MORE!!
14 The Lord will have compassion on Jacob;
Isaiah 14:1-4
once again he will choose Israel
and will settle them in their own land.
Foreigners will join them
and unite with the descendants of Jacob.
2 Nations will take them
and bring them to their own place.
And Israel will take possession of the nations
and make them male and female servants in the Lord’s land.
They will make captives of their captors
and rule over their oppressors.
3 On the day the Lord gives you relief from your suffering and turmoil and from the harsh labor forced on you, 4 you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon:
How the oppressor has come to an end!
How his fury has ended!
This is the time of a great occupation, where warriors of faith, purity, innocence and goodness march out into the land and reclaim it, occupy it and refuse to be moved. The birthing is for the occupation. The warriors will become the landowners. The warriors will own the land, and they will not tolerate squatters or trespassers. The warriors will clear the land. They will own it, and they will occupy it. The battle will climax and lead to a great resurgence of good, a great occupation of righteousness, a great intolerance for evil, a great united roar of NO MORE. And good will triumph. I will triumph. My warriors will be victors, and the darkness will flee.
How to Respond
- Set your gaze and your heart on the Lord.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Thank You that You fight for us. Thank You that You love to partner with us to accomplish Your victories in the Earth. Help me to understand what my role is and what it is that You are birthing in me for this time.
- Declare, the Lord and His warriors will bring forth a great resurgence of good, a great occupation of righteousness, a great intolerance for evil, a great united roar of NO MORE.
- Decree, good will triumph. The Lord will triumph. We the warriors will be victors, and the darkness will flee.
