Isaiah 1
Psalm 89
21 How the faithful city has become a harlot,
Isaiah 1:21-25
She who was full of justice!
Righteousness once lodged in her,
But now murderers.
22 Your silver has become dross,
Your drink diluted with water.
23 Your rulers are rebels
And companions of thieves;
Everyone loves a bribe
And chases after rewards.
They do not defend the orphan,
Nor does the widow’s plea come before them.
24 Therefore the Lord God of hosts,
The Mighty One of Israel, declares,
“Ah, I will be relieved of My adversaries
And avenge Myself on My foes.
25 “I will also turn My hand against you,
And will smelt away your dross as with lye
And will remove all your alloy.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
My justice will sweep the right and the left, and it will flood the so-called middle. This is not middle of the road justice. This is not politically correct justice, this is not social warrior justice. This is holy justice. This is true justice. This justice is born from truth and is exacted on behalf of truth. The people no longer have a taste for this so-called middle of the road justice. The real word for it is injustice. Look around, you see no justice. Every one seems to take a bribe. Judges judge unrighteously, unfairly for a bribe or as part of a shakedown, through blackmail and threats. Who will stand up? Who will stand for the people in the midst of this anarchy and injustice?
26 “Then I will restore your judges as at the first,
Isaiah 1:26-28
And your counselors as at the beginning;
After that you will be called the city of righteousness,
A faithful city.”
27 Zion will be redeemed with justice
And her repentant ones with righteousness.
28 But transgressors and sinners will be crushed together,
And those who forsake the Lord will come to an end.
My love is coming in like a flood, and with it comes justice. Justice will break forth. Justice will be a natural outgrowth, a natural result of My love flooding the earth. Justice comes with love. Justice is because of love. It is a result and a proof of love. My children will remain trapped and enslaved no longer. The heavy burdens and the heartbroken cries have not gone unnoticed, uncounted, unseen. My heart is broken for the children, for the parents, for the poor, abused and hungry, for the addicts, the lost, the lonely, the orphans and the widows. My heart sees all of the brokenness and despair created by lies and the lying machine that perpetuates chaos, and I will smash it as if with a hammer.
Justice will come to the heartland. Justice will come to the cities and the coasts. Justice will sweep the plains, the prairies and the valleys, the fields, the creeks and the meadows. Justice will wash over the mountains, the hills and will runoff into the towns below. My love will come in like a flood, and My justice will appear as a hammer.
“All the heavens and everything on earth belong to you, for you are the Creator of all that is seen and unseen. The four corners of the earth were put in place by you. You made the majestic mountains that are still shouting their praises to your name. Breathtaking and awesome is your power! Astounding and unbelievable is your might and strength when it goes on display! Your glorious throne rests on a foundation of righteousness and just verdicts. Grace and truth are the attendants who go before you.”

Walk with Me. Trust in Me. Let your souls be at rest in Me. Justice is coming for the wicked. Their time is nearly up. You won’t recognize this land when My love and justice has swept through. It will be a completely new place. It will seem like a foreign land that you are so well pleased, that you are overflowing with joy and gratitude to call home. Trust Me and watch. Watch and pray and trust. You will see that day.
How to Respond
- Worship the Lord.
- Pray, Thank You Lord that You see us and hear our prayers. Thank You for Your love, and thank You that the result of Your love is justice. You are so good.
- Declare, the Lord’s love will come like a flood, and His justice will come as a hammer.
- Decree, I will see the goodness of the Lord in land of the living. I will see and experience recompense for ALL the enemy has stolen, killed and destroyed.
