Isaiah 60
“Rise up in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned, and Yahweh’s glory now streams from you! Look carefully! Darkness blankets the earth, and thick clouds covers the nations, but Yahweh arises upon you and the brightness of his glory appears over you! Nations will be attracted to your radiant light and kings to the sunrise-glory of your new day.”

The Spirit of the Living God says,
Sing a victory song. Sing a resurrection song. Let My triumph over death be made known to all. I will do it again. I will show My great power over death, over darkness, over sin again. I will cause a mighty uncovering, a mighty reversal; and I will shine a great bright undeniable, inescapable spotlight into very dark places. My heart is for the children. My heart beats for the children, for the lonely and rejected, for the abused and cast aside, for the defenseless and the ones who are tucked inside of their mother’s womb.
This is a time of a Great Awakening. It started slowly at first, and a great jolt will hit that snaps many suddenly from their slumber. The slow waking process has been happening. The light of My dawn has risen upon many gradually, but there are many more still asleep, still in the darkness. My light is coming their way too. My light will rise and shine upon them, in their hearts and in their lives, and they will not be able to go back inside of themselves, inside of their shells, their cocoons and hide from the truth.
“Lift up your eyes higher! Look all around you and believe, for your sons are returning from far away and your daughters are being tenderly carried home. Watch as they all gather together, eager to come back to you!” “Then you will see with understanding and be radiant. Your heart will be thrilled and swell with joy. The fullness of the sea will flow to you and the wealth of the nations will be transferred to you!”

Once seen, once awakened by My light, a return to ignorant slumber is not an option. My light will carry a very stark decision of “choose this day whom you will serve.” It will draw a line in the sand that is obvious for all. Choose life and Christ or sin and death. Choose grace and forgiveness, choose rescue and belonging, or choose to dig your heels in, choose to turn your back on My offer, My invitation, My gift. Great grace will be here for many to walk to the light and remain in the light. Great grace will be here for people to shed their former ways, drop the former lies to which they clung and walk into My open arms.
“The sun will no longer be needed to brighten the day, nor the moon to shine at night, for Yahweh will be your unfailing light; your God will be your glory! There will be no more sunsets or new moons, for Yahweh will be your everlasting light and your days of sadness will be over. All your people will be righteous and will permanently possess the land. I planted them there as a tender sapling, the work of my own hands to display my glory. I will multiply the least of you into a thousand and the weakest one into a mighty nation. I am Yahweh, and when the right time comes, I will accomplish it swiftly!”

These are days where the sun is dawning, the light is spreading more and more each second, each minute. Awakening is taking place in the hearts of many. It has been gradual and steady, and soon will come the violent, shock, the sudden abrupt moment of awakening that demands all eyes open. The fixed moment of awakening is upon us. None shall be permitted to return to their caves of hiding or nestle down back into their slumber. The moment of stark, unavoidable jolting awakening is right upon us.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord and be busy about Your Father’s business.
- Pray fervently for the prodigals and the lost in your family and community.
- Sing resurrection and victory songs.
- Pray, Lord, thank You for Your grace and for an awakening process. I thank You that Your light will shine greatly on every heart and household. Help me to be a gentle and welcoming ambassador for You, who newly awakened ones can trust for guidance and acceptance. Lord, let not one member of my family or household turn their back on You. Turn their hearts of stone into hearts of flesh.
- Declare, the light of the Lord is dawning, and He is ushering in a Great Awakening.
- Decree, I will see and experience the light of the Lord cover the Earth as well as the great jolt, the extraordinary sudden event that wakes all remaining sleeping ones from their slumber. I will see as many turn to the light, depart from darkness and choose the love gift and salvation of Jesus. As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.
