Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 49
Isaiah 62

49 Listen to Me, O islands,
And pay attention, you peoples from afar.
The Lord called Me from the womb;
From the body of My mother He named Me.
2 He has made My mouth like a sharp sword,
In the shadow of His hand He has concealed Me;
And He has also made Me a select arrow,
He has hidden Me in His quiver.
3 He said to Me, “You are My Servant, Israel,
In Whom I will show My glory.”
4 But I said, “I have toiled in vain,
I have spent My strength for nothing and vanity;
Yet surely the justice due to Me is with the Lord,
And My reward with My God.”
5
And now says the Lord, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant,
To bring Jacob back to Him, so that Israel might be gathered to Him
(For I am honored in the sight of the Lord,
And My God is My strength),
6 He says, “It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant
To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel;
I will also make You a light of the nations
So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”
7 Thus says the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel and its Holy One,
To the despised One,
To the One abhorred by the nation,
To the Servant of rulers,
“Kings will see and arise,
Princes will also bow down,
Because of the Lord who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel who has chosen You.”

Isaiah 49:1-7

The Spirit of the Lord says,
You’re on My heart. You’re on My mind. I’m making good plans for you. I’m reaching out. My hand is extended to you. Are you ready for change? Are you ready for an adventure? Are you ready to run out with Me into the great wide unknown? Grasp My outstretched hand. I’ll show you what I put inside of you. I’ll show you your purpose. I’ll show you what I’ve made you to be and bring to the world that only you can do.

14 But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me,
And the Lord has forgotten me.”
15 “Can a woman forget her nursing child
And have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.
16 “Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Your walls are continually before Me.
17 “Your builders hurry;
Your destroyers and devastators
Will depart from you.

Isaiah 49:14-17

Take My outstretched hand. My blueprints of you are etched on My heart. I could never leave you or forsake you, because you are part of Me. Can I divorce Myself? Of course I cannot. Neither can I leave you, abandon you or forget about you. You are My masterpiece, and I made you for glory. I made you to dwell in glory. Your lungs were created for the atmosphere of glory. That’s where your soul will thrive. That’s where your voice will find it’s strength and cause and purpose.

You are My masterpiece, and I made you to live in glory with Me. My glory extends as far as the east is from the west. The whole earth will be filled and is actively being filled with the knowledge of My glory. You were made for such a time as this. You were made for the time of My glory. You were made for the time where men meet Me in a powerful and real way. You were made for this time of change upon which history hinges. Your time is the hinge of history, and you get to straddle the former times and the latter times. You get to see the old ways and the glorious ways of redemption. I chose you for this time. I made you for this time. You have everything you need to make it in this time and to author, build, invent and create what is to be in the new time, the next time, the time the door is swinging open to now.

10 Go through, go through the gates,
Clear the way for the people;
Build up, build up the highway,
Remove the stones, lift up a standard over the peoples.
11 Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth,
Say to the daughter of Zion, “Lo, your salvation comes;
Behold His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.”
12 And they will call them, “The holy people,
The redeemed of the Lord”;
And you will be called, “Sought out, a city not forsaken.”

Isaiah 62:10-12

You are living on the hinge of history. All of Heaven marvels at your opportunity. What will you do with it? What will you see? What will you say? Where will you go? Take My hand. Grasp my outstretched hand, and come run with Me. The possibility is here, the opportunity is here, right in front of you. It’s your choice to grasp it. It’s your choice to participate and be an architect of the times just ahead. Will you just stay here? Will you live as a spectator and one to whom life and time and history happens? Take My outstretched hand, and come build with Me. Let’s build the future. Let’s build the time ahead. Let’s go beyond the hinge and build what’s next.

How to Respond

  • Sit with the Lord and ask Him what His invitation to you in this pivotal time is. Determine not to miss your opportunity.
  • Pray, Lord, thank You for making me to live at such a special and crucial time. Help me to recognize and choose to do what it is You have made for me to do in this time. I say yes to Your outstretched hand, to Your invitation and to the unknown. Bring me on an adventure with You Lord.
  • Declare, the Lord is inviting us to build the future.
  • Decree, I will go where the Lord invites me to go. I will not hesitate, and I will not miss my opportunity to be part of building the future with Him.
