Yet look at you now! Everything is new! Although you were once distant and far away from God, now you have been brought delightfully close to him through the sacred blood of Jesus – you have actually been united to Christ!
Ephesians 2:13
The Lord says,
I Am your rescue story. I Am the rescue story of this generation, of the world. It’s a rescue story of going from bondage to freedom, of being oppressed by wickedness to living in a place and time where purity, truth and justice matter. It’s calling you from death to life. It’s a full healing, a full restoration.
It will look better than it ever did. The world will look better than it ever has for as long as you have been alive, since the time of your parents’ births and event their parents before them. Actually, the world is going to look the best it has since Eden.
This is My Kingdom Come. This is My Righteous Move. This is the descending of My Glory, My Presence on the earth – to transform, to restore, to renew, to refresh, to make many dead hearts and many dead dreams come alive.
I Am restoring childlike wonder, awe and humility.
I Am restoring curiosity, creativity and abandonment to Me.
I Am restoring play and fun. I am restoring families and priorities.
I Am restoring faith in governance and leaders – because I Am clearing out all of that which has not served the people, which has not served My purposes. All that has served death, and corruption and lies and division will be removed by My Mighty right hand. Mark My Word. I will do it.
And I will raise in their place leaders who fear Me, leaders who can’t be bought or blackmailed. Leaders with spines of iron. Leaders who won’t blink in the face of the enemy, won’t back down, won’t look away from confrontation. They will stare evil in the face and call it what it is. These are the fierce ones I Am raising up.
The Lord says,
This rescue mission is very dear to My heart. I have had this plan set in motion for many many many years leading up to this moment. Even still, even now, the wheels are turning, the pieces are moving into place. And they will snap together. As they snap into place, it will be a Mighty powerful snapping of the trap shutting on its prey. The trap that the enemies set for the innocent will indeed snap shut on them. The initial snap will trap one. But there will be many many many that fall behind the one. They have no defense. They have no escape. My patience has run out with this evil. I will not have mercy on these perpetrators of wickedness. It will be in the realm of politics and government, yes. But also science, also education, also entertainment, also news media, also large corporations, also the Church (definitely the Church), it will be in families and non-profits. This move of mine – this upending of evil and wickedness, this great exposure and great reversal – will not be confined to an industry or a geography. It’s like a great shaking out of a giant tablecloth. Nothing on top of it will escape the shaking.
I Am dismantling systems and removing power brokers and power players who have operated in darkness. I Am making a clean sweep. I have no limitations.
I asked the Lord whether there was a timing or a sign that we could look for. I believe I heard Him say this –
I like the sign of Jonah – which I have used a few times before. The world will be plunged into darkness for 3 days. And this will be a sign that the day of exposure has begun. Don’t fear the darkness because it is My sign. Don’t fear the darkness because – just as I have said in Psalm 139 – there is nowhere you can flee from My Presence. I will be there. And I will show them (the evildoers) that I can use the darkness too. But My purposes are never for evil. My purposes are always driven by love and truth and freedom and justice. This will be a time where the wicked will reap a great harvest of destruction. And they won’t see it coming.
Waking Up the Church
The Lord says,
I Am stirring up joy in My people, in believers. I Am stirring up inexplicable joy that runs counter to circumstances and runs counter to the news, runs counter to bank statements and doctor’s reports. I Am stirring up the Joy of the Lord in My people. And they are being roused from a long slumber. They are being roused from numbness and boredom and complacency.
I Am saying, wake up My darling, I Am here, The Lord your God. The Lord Most High. I delight in you, it’s time that you remember how to delight in Me. It is time that I restore, and even release in you a double portion of the joy of your salvation. I Am gently waking you up My people and I’m calling you to myself. Wipe the sleep from your eyes and greet the new day with joy, with hunger and with passion for Me. Can’t you see what I have done? Can’t you see how I have healed your heart? Can’t you see how I have rescued you from death and destruction, and I have made a way for you to live in everlasting freedom, joy, abundance and communion with Me?
Wake up dear one. I Am calling you into a new day, a new season. One with a heart and eyes on fire – with fiery passion for Me. It is a new day.
The Lord says,
You will taste and see that I Am good. You will taste of Me as if for the first time. You will have a wholly new experience with Me, of Me – and you will finally recognize that I Am who I say I Am – good. Absolutely good. Absolutely for you. Absolutely enamored with you. You will taste it, you will see it with your own eyes and your heart will bear witness. And then you will desire to dance with Me. You will desire to play like a child, to commune with Me, to sit at My feet, to drink deeply of My Presence and feast on My Word. Indeed, I Am doing a new thing.
How to Respond
- Declare the coming of the Lord’s great reversal. Declare that the Lord does in fact get the last word regarding wickedness.
- Ask the Lord to stir up joy in your heart if you don’t already feel Him doing that. Ask Him to reveal His truth, His person and His Word to you. Ask Him to increase your hunger for His Presence and His Word.
- Find a new way to incorporate Jesus into your personal or family routine. Perhaps a prayer together or reading a passage of scripture. Maybe it’s watching the Chosen series or reading the Gospels in a different translation. Get creative with it.
