I will rejoice greatly in the Lord, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.

The Primacy of Jesus
The Lord says,
Jesus. The primacy of Jesus. The essential nature of Jesus. He is the Word made flesh. He is the very breath of God. He is the answer for every problem. He has already overcome every evil, every sickness. Every work of the enemy has already been defeated by the finished work of Jesus on the cross and in His resurrection from the dead.
If every problem you have has already been overcome, if every battle you are fighting has already been won, then what are you fretting for, what are you striving for?
Peace, be still. Calm your heart and soul and mind. Sit at the feet of Jesus. Breathe in deeply his fragrance and drink deeply of His revelation. Feast hungrily on His Word, His testimony.
Jesus is the answer. He has been from the beginning. He is the beginning and the end, so don’t worry about the middle.
Yes of course your concerns are real, your heartache is real, your problems and diagnoses are real. But so is Jesus. Get beside Him and ask Him to relieve you of your burdens. Ask Him to walk with you, to carry you even. He can carry much more than you think He can, and He can certainly carry much more than you can. He wants to walk with you, to help you. He desires to be with you.
The Lord’s Rollercoaster
The Lord says,
It looks like My rollercoaster is shaped like a snail – to your eyes, it looks like a snail. But there is explosive power behind it. And when I release this powerful blast, nothing will be able to stop it. It will knock the wind out of some. It will shock many, it will surprise all.
Gardens of Hearts
The Lord says,
I Am planting seeds in hearts. I Am planting and watering seeds in hearts. Seeds of new dreams, seeds of hope, seeds of purpose, seeds of wisdom and clarity. It will be like a beautiful garden has been planted in the hearts of many. Flowers and fruit will be born, the fragrance of joy and hope and new inspiration will bloom. Fruit of aligning with Me, fruit of time spent with Me, fruit of sitting at My feet and reading My word will bloom and ripen. And it will mature and it will get passed on to others. Others will eat of the fruit of this time and seeds will be planted in their hearts. It will be a great time of cross pollinating and seed planting and germination.
These will blossom and this will be My Spring. My Spring will come forth with people of full hearts and love struck eyes of worshippers. Those who have tarried in the garden with Me, those who bear the first fruit of Spring will be witness to maximum joy, maximum revival, maximum acceleration and change. Tend to your garden, and plant seeds through acts of love and kindness, and in obedience – into the hearts of your neighbors and friends and family members. The full bloom of Spring will soon be upon us. And it will be beautiful, and fragrant, and fruitful and sweet. Much joy will burst forth from these garden hearts.
A Time of Rest & Awakening
The Lord says,
Let your soul rest. It has been a very hard season. Cease your striving and your worry and put your cares aside. Now is a time for those things to find rest and for your soul to be awakened to love, to refreshing, to truth, to joy, to harvest.
This is the time of tender and gentle awakening. Awake now. And be part of witnessing the buds and harvest and full blossoming come forth in My Spring. The Awakening that comes later will be much more startling. Rouse yourself now and find refreshing. Water the dry places of your soul. This is a time to take a retreat with Me. Come away with Me and be revived. You will need your strength, you will need your energy, you will need My wisdom and My instruction to navigate the days ahead without faltering. Come away with Me on a desert retreat. Watch a garden bloom in the desert with Me as I refresh your soul, revive your spirit and bring new life, new light, new understanding and a completely new abandoned love for Me. These are sweet days.
How to Respond
- Write down all of your worries, concerns, heartaches on a piece of paper. Put that piece of paper in an envelope addressed to Jesus. And leave them there for Him. Trust Him with those things, so you can free up your mind and heart, your soul and spirit to get away with Him.
- Find a cozy place to sit – on the floor if possible, and close your eyes and imagine yourself sitting at the feet of Jesus. Ask Him to talk to you, to refresh you, to give you wisdom for your day, a fresh vision for your future.
- Give Jesus permission to awaken you and refresh your soul. Ask Him if there’s any special activity (a walk in the park, a bike ride, a nap) that He would have you do to with Him to jump start the restoration and the awakening of your heart to Him.
