Isaiah 55
John 4:1-30
Listen! Are you thirsty for more? Come to the refreshing waters and drink. Even if you have no money, come, buy, and eat. Yes, come and buy all the wine and milk you desire— it won’t cost a thing. Why spend your hard-earned money on something that can’t nourish you or work so hard for something that can’t satisfy? So listen carefully to me and you’ll enjoy a sumptuous feast, delighting in the finest of food. Pay attention and come closer to me, and hear, that your total being may flourish. I will enter into an everlasting covenant with you, and I will show you the same faithful love that I showed David.
Isaiah 55:1-3 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Son courage is rising. Sons and daughters with the courage, love and gratitude for My Son, the King of kings are rising. And this Son courage will come in like a wave and go out with a mighty roar. Theirs is a piercing, startling shout that wakes a sleeping world from its slumber. It will startle some. It will be unreasonable to some. But it will be wildly contagious.
“See! I made him a witness to the nations, an example of leadership, as prince and commander of peoples.” Look! You will summon nations you’ve never heard of. Nations who have never heard of you will come running to follow you because Yahweh, your God, the Holy One of Israel, has glorified you! Seek the Lord Yahweh when he makes himself approachable; call upon him when you sense he is near. The wicked need to abandon their ways, and sinful ones need to banish every evil thought. Let them return to Yahweh, and they will experience his compassionate mercy. Yes, let them return to God, for he will lavish forgiveness upon them.
Isaiah 55:4-7 TPT
Sun Courage is rising, and the old, passive, weak ways of evangelism are fading away. Theirs is a roar and a shout of triumph, of victory, of “look and see what the Lord has done. He changed me inside and out. I was lost, but now I’m found. I was broken and sick, but now I am whole, healthy and set free!” They will say, “days of bondage can be shaken off in an instant through an encounter with my King. Come, taste and see that the Lord is good and that His love endures forever. His mercies are new every morning. Come to the fountain that never runs dry. Come, buy eat and drink without cost. He is the wellspring of life everlasting. He is the never ending Source of Living Water. All that I knew before him was dry, dead and hollow. And now I have life more abundant, and my heart’s response is to sing, to worship, to dance and to shout. Listen to my roar. Join in the chorus of my mighty roar! It is to draw men to my King, the only Eternal, Hero King, the God of all glory and grace. He is here among us. He has written His word on our hearts and gifted us life with Him. He lives in me, and through Him I live and breathe and have my being.”
“For my thoughts about mercy are not like your thoughts, and my ways are different from yours. As high as the heavens are above the earth, so my ways and my thoughts are higher than yours. “As the snow and rain that fall from heaven do not return until they have accomplished their purpose, soaking the earth and causing it to sprout with new life, providing seed to sow and bread to eat. So also will be the word that I speak; it does not return to me unfulfilled. My word performs my purpose and fulfills the mission I sent it out to accomplish.” For you will leave your exile with joy and be led home wrapped in peace. The mountains and hills in front of you will burst into singing and the trees of the field will applaud! Cypress trees will flourish where there were only thorns and myrtle trees instead of briars. These will stand as a testimony to Yahweh’s renown, everlasting signs that will not be cut off.

The ones with Son courage will say, “Come, taste and see, join in with my chorus roar to my Mighty King. He alone is worthy. He alone deserves all praise. Leave that dead, hollow, shame-filled life behind, and walk into abundance, health, healing and soul prosperity like you have never known. It only comes through the Living God, the Living Expression, the Living Word. It only comes through my Savior, Christ my King, the Risen Lord. His is risen indeed, and He reigns in victory forevermore. He is seated on His throne of victory forevermore!”
How to Respond
- Rise up in courage and passionate love for Christ your King. Open your mouth and speak His words that set men free.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Refresh me. Help me to honor King Jesus through my passionate love and courage — praising His holy Name and proclaiming Him as Lord. Cause my fear and hesitation to fade away and my passionate love, gratitude and compassion for those who do not yet know Him to overwhelm me. Help me to be one who rises in courage and boldly points people to the Son.
- Declare, he whom the Son sets free is free indeed.
- Decree, I will rise up in bold courage and passionate love for King Jesus. I will not be ashamed or afraid to proclaim His love, His sacrifice, His mercy and His great salvation. I will join my voice to the chorus of mighty ones who are roaring the truth of King Jesus.
