Today’s Reading:
Proverbs 3
Proverbs 4

”Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go.“

Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The Spirit of the Living God says,
My grace is sufficient for today. My grace is sufficient. You have all you need. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Don’t borrow trouble. Don’t worry about tomorrow. Stay here, and be focused on today. I have good works that I planned for you in advance that require you to participate in today. You can worry about tomorrow when it gets here. For now, spend your focus, your effort, your energy on today. Part of today may be preparing for tomorrow. But it’s not living in the what-ifs of tomorrow. It’s not hand wringing about how, who, when and what. Be here. Be present. Do the work I have for you to do today. And guess what? My grace will meet you tomorrow when it comes.

”You will sleep like a baby, safe and sound— your rest will be sweet and secure. You will not be subject to terror, for it will not terrify you. Nor will the disrespectful be able to push you aside, because God is your confidence in times of crisis, keeping your heart at rest in every situation.“

Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭24‬-‭26‬ ‭TPT‬‬

My grace doesn’t run out. I give you what you need for each day without measure. Fall on Me. Lean on Me. Look to Me and walk hand-in-hand with Me. I Am the always victorious One. And I Am right by your side. Whom or what shall you fear? My grace is rising up to meet you even now. These are days to put your hand to the plow and to only look back to marvel at My faithfulness, to marvel at how far we’ve come together. Don’t look back with regrets or with longing for former days. Those have passed and the former ways are passing away even now. These are days to be present. Be counted. Be faithful, and be busy about Your Father’s business. I have you here today in this day for a purpose — for many purposes. And I will show up just as I have today, tomorrow and the next day, and the next day after that. Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Dwell on My faithfulness. Dwell on My righteousness. Dwell on My goodness, My steadfastness and recall that I have never left you nor forsaken you. Don’t fear the days ahead. Don’t get wrapped up in what is yet to come. It will come, and you can focus on it then.

”Set your gaze on the path before you. With fixed purpose, looking straight ahead, ignore life’s distractions.“

Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭25‬ ‭TPT‬‬

For today, I want you plowing, building, doing the work that I have set out and called for you to do. Today’s work is the groundwork for tomorrow. Today’s work should get done with today’s grace, because just like fresh manna, I will bring fresh grace tomorrow too. You don’t have to borrow it, and you don’t need to hold it over. Receive freely, because I am pouring it out freely in your life even now. Be a willing and grateful recipient of My grace, and move forward in steadfastness, in faithfulness just like your Father in Heaven. My grace is sufficient for you today. And it will be tomorrow too. Show up and be here living in My present grace today. And do it again tomorrow and the next day and the day after that.

How to Respond

  • Trust the Lord. Fix your eyes on Him, and be busy about your Father’s business.
  • Pray, thank You Lord for your grace. Your daily grace is sufficient for me. Help me to live in the present. Help me to focus on what You’ve called me and equipped me to do today. Help me to hear your voice, recognize your Presence and walk in bold confidence because You are with me, and You never fail, never leave, never lie and never lose. I am walking hand-in-hand with the always victorious One, the King of Glory. Whom or what shall I fear?
  • Declare, great is the Lord and worthy of all glory, honor and praise. His grace is sufficient for me today and every day. He lavishes His grace and love upon me, and I choose to receive it with an open heart and gratitude.
  • Decree, I will live in the present. I will keep my hands busy about the work the Lord has called me to do. I will leave the worries of tomorrow until that day comes, because I know that the Lord is faithful to give me the grace to succeed, to overcome and to be victorious today, tomorrow and each day as it comes. I will delight myself in the Lord, because He is the delight and light of my life.
