Today’s Reading:
Psalm 2
John 16

“But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him (the Holy Spirit) to you [to be in close fellowship with you]. And He, when He comes, will convict the world about [the guilt of] sin [and the need for a Savior], and about righteousness, and about judgment:”

John‬ ‭16:7-8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

The Spirit of the Lord says,
Drip, drip, drip. The truth is dripping out as from a leaky faucet, and it is terrorizing the enemy. Rather than slowing down or drying up, the dripping out is increasing. The size of the drops is increasing. The implications of the drops cast a wider and wider net with many people and names touching one anther. The truth is terrorizing the wicked, the complicit, the evildoers with blood stained hands and the ones who have iniquity in their hearts. The drip, drip, drip is becoming more insistent. It is becoming less able to be ignored, less able to be covered over, less able to be explained away, less able to be redirected at innocent ones.

““I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear [to hear] them now. But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth [full and complete truth]. For He will not speak on His own initiative, but He will speak whatever He hears [from the Father—the message regarding the Son], and He will disclose to you what is to come [in the future]. He will glorify and honor Me, because He (the Holy Spirit) will take from what is Mine and will disclose it to you.”

John‬ ‭16:12-14‬ ‭AMP‬‬

The drip, drip, drip of truth will become a steady spray that goes out in all directions unexpectedly, and then the pipe will burst and no one will be able to locate the valve that allows the gushing truth to be turned off. Homes and offices will be flooded with the truth. It will be as if fire hydrants randomly burst open, and truth will begin to gush into the streets. As the flooding water of the truth begins to really threaten and concern the wicked, the dam of truth will burst suddenly — and the streets and businesses and homes will be flooded with uncontrolled, unfiltered, immeasurable amounts of truth. It will permeate the scene. It will permeate everything. No one will be able to ignore the truth, and no man’s hands will be able to clean it up, to get rid of it, to make it disappear. The aftermath will cause wailing. It will cause mourning not seen in the western world. It will cause the rending and tearing of clothes and falling to knees and faces. It will cause shock and disgust; and disbelief will not long be a source of comfort.

““Listen to me, all you rebel kings and all you upstart judges of the earth. Learn your lesson while there’s still time. Serve and worship the awe-inspiring God. Recognize his greatness and bow before him, trembling with reverence in his presence. Fall facedown before him and kiss the Son before his anger is roused against you. Remember that his wrath can be quickly kindled! But many blessings are waiting for all who turn aside to hide themselves in him!””

Psalms‬ ‭2:10-12‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The dark underbelly will be brought to the surface and exposed by truth. And hearts and souls will cry out for mercy. It will be a very somber and sober time. But even in the mourning, even in the pain and the recognition, My light will shine through. My mercies will arise with the sun, and My Spirit will comfort and bring wisdom to those who seek Me. This will bring the turnaround. The truth will bring the turnaround. Repentance is the turnaround. My grace and My mercy, My love will meet you in the turnaround.

How to Respond

  • Keep your heart, lips and hands pure before the Lord. Walk humbly with the Lord your God.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit come. You are the Spirit of Truth, and You lead us into all truth. Lead our nation into truth, so we can understand what we cannot now see. Lead us into truth, so we can be set free. Lead us into truth, so we can do what truth calls us to do — even if it requires mourning and repentance. We need the truth Lord. Even if it is painful, show us the truth.
  • Declare, Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, and He leads us into all truth for His righteousness’ sake.
  • Decree, I will pursue the truth. I will not hide my eyes and my heart from seeking and knowing the truth. I will respond as the truth requires, and I will live in purity and humility before the Lord my God.
