”Mercy kissed me, even though I used to be a blasphemer, a persecutor of believers, and a scorner of what turned out to be true. I was ignorant and didn’t know what I was doing. I was flooded with such incredible grace, like a river overflowing its banks, until I was full of faith and love for Jesus, the Anointed One!“
1 Timothy 1:13-14 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God says,
The truth is going to pounce. The truth is going to pounce like a crouching tiger. It will maul and demolish the lies like a very hungry, unforgiving tiger. The truth is a predator. She’s crouching and lying in wait. Do you see those with the enemy very jumpy? Do you see those with the enemy skittish? Those with the enemy will continue to advance at full force with impunity until the truth pounces, and that will be that. It will be a quick end to their lies. It will be decisive, powerful, undeniable and irreversible. The truth will destroy and consume the lies and the liars who brazenly, mockingly, unapologetically and smugly trotted out their lies and sang and danced like little lying puppets — so happy with their lying station, so pleased with their position and platform to broadcast lies. The truth will quickly and unerringly remove them each from the scene.
”I can testify that the Word is true and deserves to be received by all, for Jesus Christ came into the world to bring sinners back to life—even me, the worst sinner of all! Yet I was captured by grace, so that Jesus Christ could display through me the outpouring of his Spirit as a pattern to be seen for all those who would believe in him for eternal life. Because of this my praises rise to the King of all the universe who is indestructible, invisible, and full of glory, the only God who is worthy of the highest honors throughout all of time and throughout the eternity of eternities! Amen!“
1 Timothy 1:15-17 TPT
The truth will also exalt the faithful remnant. The truth will cause the faithful, the steadfast, the fervent ones to rise and to be exalted at just the right time. Even as the truth crouches and lies in wait like a hungry tiger, the Spirit of Truth hovers above it all, amidst it all — convicting, whispering, nudging and encouraging those who will take courage, those who will stand firm, those who will turn from their wicked lying ways.
”Most of all, I’m writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God. Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion. And pray for every political leader and representative, so that we would be able to live tranquil, undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts. It is pleasing to our Savior-God to pray for them. He longs for everyone to embrace his life and return to the full knowledge of the truth. For God is one, and there is one Mediator between God and the sons of men—the true man, Jesus, the Anointed One. He gave himself as ransom-payment for everyone. Now is the proper time for God to give the world this witness.“
1 Timothy 2:1-6 TPT
The time for the wicked to repent has not been running out in a vacuum. It has not been without every attempt to woo them back to truth, to invite them to turn to the light, to the Son, to life. But the time of the crouching, hungry tiger has come. And you will see as she takes out her wanton prey. It is indeed the time where the hunters and mockers become the hunted and the mocked. The memory of them will be greatly marred. Their family names will be a shame, a sorrow and a burden. The truth will pounce like a tiger, destroy like a hungry tiger and will demolish like the powerful slamming of a hammer. This is a step toward freedom. This is with an aim and a great cleansing that moves us toward freedom. The time for truth has come.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, bring the truth as You have said. Have it rise up and attack like a hungry tiger. Have it destroy every lie and take down every unrepentant liar living in deep wickedness, so that we can move toward a reality of freedom. Give me a greater level of discernment for the truth, and give me compassion for those who cannot yet see it. Break the chains and the bonds that the lies have created, and open the eyes, ears and hearts of those who have been deceived. Remove the veil of deception over our nation and the nations of the world.
- Declare, the Lord is a strong and mighty warrior. The Spirit of Truth is hovering over the Earth and the people now. It’s moving those who will be moved from the position of wickedness to light and encouraging those already with the Lord to stand fast. The Spirit of Truth and the powerful unleashing of truth will prevail.
- Decree, I will stand in truth. I will see the Lord and the truth prevail powerfully over darkness. I will experience the Lord’s unleashing of truth move us toward days of true freedom.
